After all, there is practically nothing newsworthy about the event. However, the cacophony of the media parrots simply drowned-out all other thoughts (and real news) this morning. There is a very simple test which we can use on any/every item of fact, in order to determine if it has any news value: is the world a different place after such news than it was before the news? In this respect, the death of Osama Bin Laden is a complete non-event: it changes absolutely nothing in the world. Even if we were to treat the farcical U.S. War on Terror as a legitimate campaign rather than just a front for more despicable U.S. imperialism (i.e. the War For Drugs in Afghanistan, and the War For Oil in Iraq), Bin Ladens death changes nothing. At the beginning of this fabricated war, the death of Osama Bin Laden would have likely been greeted with another Mission Accomplished boast by George Bush Junior. Today, it will not result in even one U.S. soldier being sent back home. It is an event which does not lead to or imply any other progress in this (intentional) war-with-no-end. On the opposite side, it neither harms nor demoralizes any of the Arab factions currently confronting the U.S. war-machine, as even the mainstream media acknowledges that Bin Laden no longer had any operational relevance in Al Qaeda. If killing this enemy neither helps us or weakens them, then how could it possibly have any significance? However, the mainstream media has never allowed minor considerations such as facts or logic to get in their way when it comes to sensationalizing an event in order to further their general propaganda-campaign. Want U.S. markets to go higher? Bin Ladens death will do that. Want the price of gold, silver, and oil to go lower? Bin Ladens death will do that. Indeed, I have been poring over media reports this morning to find out if Bin Ladens death will also be identified as a cure for the common cold. Sift through the reports of all these talking-heads about the significance of Bin Ladens death, and ultimately all that you will see are suggestions that it will impact sentiment. However, if there is one thing in this artificial, manipulated world which is contrived above all else it is sentiment. Indeed, as the Two-Party Dictatorship continues to inflict its death by a thousand cuts on the U.S. economy (and the American people), using the propaganda-machine to improve sentiment has been an overriding media obsession for the last three years. The reasons for this are obvious. To begin with, the U.S. government (and the bankers who pull the puppets strings) have already completely exhausted any and every tangible policy-option at their disposal. Thus, they have no tools at their disposal to influence/manipulate markets and the economy further except jaw-boning (i.e. lying). More fundamentally, influencing sentiment (or confidence) is always the ultimate consideration for all con-men. As many know, the colloquialism con-man is a shortened form of the older expression confidence man. It is the most elementary truth to all scammers that maintaining confidence is of paramount importance, for if the marks (i.e. scam-victims) ever lose confidence in the con-man/con-men, then they can no longer be cheated further. This is why the propaganda-machine wastes countless hours each month publishing (and commenting upon) the contrived confidence and comfort indices which the U.S. government has fabricated in order to assist the banker/con-men in their relentless plundering of the U.S. economy. While these statistics have absolutely no economic significance whatsoever, they are crucial measurements of how susceptible the U.S. public is to even more cons by the Wall Street crime syndicate. It is here where we finally find some significance to Osama Bin Ladens death: it is more feel-good hype which the propaganda-machine can use to soften-up the American people for the next campaign of lies. As the corrupt, mainstream media has devolved from an (essential) institution which informs us to a duplicitous tool to influence us (i.e. deceive us), it was no surprise to see the entire flock of media-parrots wallowing in this latest propaganda opportunity. There will be one tangible consequence to the death of Osama Bin Laden and the crescendo of media propaganda which accompanied it: even more Americans will switch off their evening news programs and switch to the real news they get on The Daily Show.

A thoughtful piece with a lot setting just under the surface. Of course it rules out understanding by the ignorant who believe the lies such as the FreepTards and Didoheads© and the other 90% of the Amurkin' Sheeple.
I think there's a lot more people who understand the truth than we think. Just browse through the YouTube comments on some of these "bin Laden is dead" videos and you'll see what I mean.
That is a hopeful sign. The latest fraudulent BC flopped except among the Kool-Aid drinkers and if this is going over like a lead balloon it is a hopeful sign.
