Hey, this is important.

We must download videos that we need
and that may not be there long.

Many of the clips on my Preview pages
are no longer on-line. But, I have them
on two hard drives and on DVDs.

When I went to Snow Leopard and
the new quad core i7 iMac my
youtube download software no
longer worked. An Apple Tech gave
me this tip. Wink wink, nod nod.

Both Safari and Firefox are a must.

Many tech guys think very highly of Google's Chrome browser.

I finally gave in and tried it. It is quite good, many elements remind me of the best features of Safari which is where Google got many of their design ideas.

Chrome can use a lot of plugins too, like Firefox. It may be that Google can outstrip the efforts at Mozilla. They do have the money to do it and tablets and cellphone platforms they want a top browser for. And they'd rather have control of it, just like Apple does with Safari and Webkit.
