OK, maybe he isn't dead. Maybe the SEALs took him alive but we announced he was dead so his supporters don't try any hostage-taking to get him back. Most of the world is happy thinking he's dead, and (if he's alive) the CIA can torture him leisurely and endlessly.
Only sick demented people get their kicks over the thought of torturing other creatures, whether they be human or other animals.
