US releases video of bin Laden found at Pakistan compound
The U.S. military on Saturday released five videos of Osama bin Laden that were found in the compound where the terrorist leader was killed by American troops.
The videos are a glimpse of the life bin Laden was living in Abbottabad, Pakistan.
In one, which looks like a home movie, bin Laden is wearing a black cap and is wrapped in a blanket. He is holding a TV remote and appears to be watching news coverage of himself on the television screen.
Three of the other videos appear to be rehearsals for the taped messages that bin Laden issued during his years in hiding.
One of the videos is a message to the United States, which U.S. intelligence officials believe was taped between October and November of 2010.
The Pentagon did not release the audio of the tapes, only the images.
The White House has decided not to release photos of bin Laden's body after he was shot by the special forces troops who raided the compound.
The videos released Saturday are the first public release of material collected after the raid.
The Department of Homeland Security issued a security bulletin to local law enforcement earlier in the week because evidence of an "aspirational" plot against the U.S. rail system had been discovered in Pakistan compound.
The guy with the remote isn't recognizable, you cannot actually see what is on the TV screen, and according to the FBI, the real Osama was left-handed, while the man in the video is using his right hand for the remote control.
But other than that, a very convincing picture! Really. I mean it! Splendid work (for the government). Much better than that passport photo over at the Daily Mail!, I mean, just look at those walls! Clearly this is the inside of a million dollar mansion! :)

I'm a high-line contractor and I know quality construction when I see it. That fancy electrical system didn't come cheap. It's not just any electrician that can ticky-tack extension cords & power strips to the wall like that. We're talkin' big bucks here, people!
You're looking at about about a thousand dollar an hour avant-garde interior decorator who came up with that puke over baby shit two tone paint job. You'd have to travel to the tenements of New York or D.C. to find something like that. And just look at those lovely antique furniture pieces!
And you're not going to strut into Walmart and find a fancy 19 inch CRT TeeVee like that at any price. Sheesh, get on the O'boingo bandwagon already, and bask in all his glory.
Having had the opportunity to look at bin Laden's "million dollar mansion" numerous times, I've come to the conclusion that should I need employment down the road, I'll seriously consider becoming a real estate agent in Pakistan. If that pile of shit goes for a mil, the commission is a cool $75k, give or take. Not a bad gig.

Don't you think you should get at least 100K to unload that $#it pile on some unsuspecting goof for mil? They should be more than happy to give anyone 10% to sell those "mansions."
If Countrywide was still in business, Angelo Mozilo (he of the perpetual tan) would have given a 'connected' politician a mortgage for 110% of the assessed value for that dump. IIRC, Senator Dowd bought a castle in Ireland thanks to Angelo.
