A 25-mile commute through Russian traffic and a powerful two-wheeled samurai sword, and you get a video showing the "quick" way to work. Sometimes this two-wheeler even becomes a one-wheeler as rare empty stretches of road disappear when the nose goes skyward. Hang On !! I went to you-tube and found this one on the ghost rider...he's legendary among the motorcycle adrenaline junkies, he routinely hits 150-180 mph in traffic...like I said, I heard he is no longer with us...don't know for sure though

Yes. I'd love to have a bike again, but Mrs.L says NO! So that's that.
In the DFW Metroplex the EMT's/cops call the sport-bike riders "organ donors".

Ours. Honda VTX 1800/110 cubic inches, 110 horse power 120 ft/lbs torque at the rear wheel.
Farmfriend....THAT'S SWEET!!! And a HUGE powerplant to boot. I had mine rebuilt to 103 Cubes and I'm looking at 90 hp and 100 torque...it's a drug, isn't it. I just got back from the Outer Banks bike rally a couple weeks ago. Me and a friend went to Sturgis several years ago (1700 miles one way) and at night we'd crash out in our sleeping bags laying beside the bikes, just staring at the stars. Nothing like it. Do you ever do any of the rallies?
We get together with a group from an M-109 forum. We are meeting in Pismo Beach this week. Will be about 30 bikes and about 40 people. Last year a bunch came over from Australia, some from Canada, and they all got together down in Los Vegas. Hotel set parking aside for the bikes on the 5th floor of the parking garage. Do you know what happens to car alarms when 30 bikes go by? They should have put them on the ground floor. We also go up to Reno from Street Vibrations. Nice ride over the hill. Here is our friend's M-109.
The car alarm thing can be funny...been there, done that. The m109 is a nice bike...I like the looks of yours better though...it looks sleeker to my eyes. Beautiful scenery in the background...where is this? Laconia bike rally is coming up next month and if I can sneak away from work I want to ride up through New Hampshire and Maine and see the sights...
Where are you? We may be neighbors. I'm in Schenectady, NY currently. I haven't been to laconia in a few years. Time has been scarce.

You mean the Blue Ridge bumps? We go from 32' here in the valley to 11,000'. The pass we go over to Reno is over 7,000'. I'm going to try and get some better background pictures to show you.

Compared to what you have...you're right...we have bumps! 5,000 is TALL around here...Mt Rogers in 5,700 and is the tallest mountain in VA. The Mountains out west are truly magnificent...and make for some great 2 wheel get aways. The mountains in the east are breathtaking in the spring and fall...a mosaic of pastels in Autumn...no place like it.
