Obama plan for health care quality dealt a setback

(AP:WASHINGTON) President Barack Obama's main idea for getting quality health care at less cost was in jeopardy Wednesday after key medical providers called his administration's initial blueprint so complex it's unworkable.

Just over a month ago, top officials released long-awaited draft regulations for "accountable care organizations," networks of doctors and hospitals that would collaborate to keep Medicare patients healthier and share in the savings with taxpayers. Obama's health care overhaul law envisioned quickly setting up hundreds of such networks around the county to lead a bottom-up reform of America's bloated health care system.

But in an unusual rebuke, an umbrella group representing premier organizations such as the Mayo Clinic wrote the administration Wednesday saying that more than 90 percent of its members would not participate, because the rules as written are so onerous it would be nearly impossible for them to succeed. ...

That is proof that the medical system in America has become such an unwieldy and huge beauracracy that to untangle the layers of redundancy and incompetence would result in a massive overhaul.

IMHO, this indicates the absolute need for some kind of oversight and regulation of the Health Care INDUSTRY.

I think that sums up to "yes" we want no bananas today. I think boiling it down they are simply saying that it is too byzantine and complex to be workable. Obamacare was an abortion delivered to term and it was DOA for a variety of reasons, but it is going to take some real fighting to get rid of it. The power elites want universal hellthcare because it makes their long term depopulation and eugenics programs more easily implemented. It will increase the overall deathrate in the population and debilitate many others.

One of the threats to their hegemony was the growth in popularity of alternatives to allopathic, take two of these and call me in the morning for more billing activity, "medicine" which relies upon their highly profitable, but largely ineffective, Pharmacidicals.

IMHO, this indicates the absolute need for some kind of oversight and regulation of the Health Care INDUSTRY.

The current scene has been brought about BY government oversight and regulation which has enshrined special interests and Pharmacide as the only acceptable forms of treatment while non-invasive low or no side effect natural therapies have been marginalized or made more difficult to pursue and practice.

What needs to occur is near total deregulation with exception of enforcement of laws against fraud.

Obamacare was an attempt to kill alternative medicine as it was taking a greater and greater chunk of healthcare spending as more and more people woke up to the multiple frauds of Pharmaceutical Based Allopathic medicine.

I haven't seen any new Membership Numbers put out from them, have you?

Truthfully I have not been watching for it but I recall there was some resentment which likely did translate into a declining membership.

As I recall the Obama scum were able to get endorsements from the AMA and AARP.

Both are controlled by Big Pharma and Big Pharma wanted Obamacare to pass because it effectively makes Pharmacide the only approved form of medical practice.
