I will tell you here and now on this board in this thread I do not believe is any of the worlds faiths, not that I know of them. And yet I believe in A God. A something that is bigger and better and greater. I seen enough proof to know understandings with out any further questioning. Christianity, Islam, Jewishness, Hinduism, Shinto, These may all be wrong, BUt doing the right thing for the sake of it is the right thing to do always, because their is a god,...doubting and tempting the fact often leads to intersections with the unimaginable and that can really twist a bad life or a good life, such is the greater power of the infinite understanding.
There's room for a creator God. I never said there wasn't. I can't prove a negative. Neither can anyone use the bible to prove the bible. But that doesn't stop them from trying. Hell, I used to do that myself.
But if there is a creator god, it's not the petty and psychopathic insane little jew tribal god. That 'god' destroys. That is, if you believe what the jews wrote, and later, what the xtians wrote.

Religions served a purpose. They enabled civilizations to form. The problems started when civilizations started interacting with each other, and they got into the "my gods are bigger than your gods" and that started wars. Then there were the forced conversions that judaism, xtianity, and islam were (are) famous for.
Religions have lost their usefulness and have become a distinct liability. They are no longer useful. Religions are just another tool in the authoritarians toolbox that they use to rule over people.
