Post-Rapture Looting, Anyone? Lest you've been comatose for the last month or so, let's fill you in on the biggest news story of the last —oh— two thousand years: The Rapture is coming. Like, Saturday. The saved will ascend to heaven, the graves will unleash their dead, and the rest of us will be left to walk among corpses and zombies. Sounds like an opportune moment for a little looting, right? So thought Ben Conner and Carl W Franke, organizers of a post-rapture looting party that's already gotten major traction on Facebook, with more than 125,000 attendees, to date. To quote the organizers: "When everyone is gone and god's not looking, we need to pick up some sweet stereo equipment and maybe some new furniture for the mansion we're going to squat in." In anticipation of the Rapture on Saturday, on Thursday I'm going to Las Vegas, where I will max out all my credit cards, write bad checks, have wild parties with lots of booze and naked girls, have unprotected sex, etc. 'Cause, y'know, the worst that can happen is having to dodge the bill collectors and law enforcement until October 21st when the whole world ends.
I think we should invest in a mini submarine so that when California has that big quake and drops into the ocean ... we can submerge ourselves into all of the banks !

When all the Christians are Raptured on Saturday, then the Jews will really take over. Please leave your doors and cabinets unlocked, and you might as well eat that baked ham in the next three days so it doesn't go to waste. Oh yes, please leave your keys in the ignition of your unlocked cars. Be thoughtful - fill the tank before you fly away.
