Rubbish. I'm a Real American Man. I really like cats. Dogs are fine, but I prefer cats. I like their (show of) independence. Maybe I see Conservatism in cats. Their personality blends with mine.

I'm the same way, I like both, and my favorite boyhood friend was my dog "Rags". However, I luv's my kitties too.

At one time we had five indoor/outdoor cats, but gradually they crossed that Rainbow Bridge and with the coyotes in our very urban neighborhood; I'm not having any more cats.
Which we both love dearly.
