Memorial Day was Decoration Day, for most families, until approximately the 1950s. On Decoration Day, families gathered to help clean up, mow and decorate the local cemetery and graves of family members. Then sometime after 1950, the federal government propaganda machine got geared up to enforce the idea of a national Memorial Day - to worship the dead who had served in the bankers' wars and glorify their deaths. Now the veterans are 'ate up' with their great servitude to the men behind the curtain and how they preserved freedom, when freedom is nearly gone.

Today Memorial Day is one of their greatest psyop recruiting tools.
