Do you think God needs Pat Robertson and and others like him to fulfill His prophecy? They seem very eager to hurry the end times along. Doesn't that seem rather presumptuous? And why is it that the Rev. Falwell and Robertson have not spoken out against the crimes against humanity being committed in Iraq? And against the Palestinians? Isn't that what all good ministers of the Gospel should be doing? A voice for the helpless? Instead, they are as hawkish as possible, Bibles in hand, promoting warfare against innocent civilians living in their own homeland! Do you think that by calling it "liberation" and "spreading democracy" that, suddenly, that makes killing women and children, in their own country, okay? Mark 13:32 is talking about the lords return. I don't think it says anything about the jews returning to the promised land. I dont think God needs Pat Robertson or anyone to fulfill his prophecy. (im not a Pat Robertson fan.) Falwell and Robertson don't speak out because they probably arent christians. However I dont consider Palestineans homeland to be israel.

I believe its Gods word. I dont understand how the Bible controls little people. It calls us to a higher standard. I believe some people twist the bible to fit their agenda though.

Yes of course. Israel has existed since 1948, that's old news. I already told you I believe Israel has a right to exist. There is other land, outside Israel, that should belong to the Palestinians. On June 8, 1967 while patrolling in international waters[2] in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea, USS Liberty (AGTR-5) was savagely attacked without warning or justification by air and naval forces of the state of Israel.[3] Of a crew of 294 officers and men[4] (including three civilians)[5], the ship suffered thirty four (34) killed in action and one hundred seventy three (173) wounded in action.[6] The ship itself, a Forty Million ($40,000,000) Dollar state of the art signals intelligence (SIGINT) platform, was so badly damaged that it never sailed on an operational mission again and was sold in 1970 for $101,666.66 as scrap[7] . The attack on 'Liberty' was fading into obscurity until last week, when intelligence expert James Bamford came out with Body of Secrets, his latest book about the National Security Agency. Unfortunately I have to agree with you - we just won't mind our own damn business. Partly it's greed, and partly naivete, and partly that very human desire to control the world for the"good of others' that crops up every now and then in powerful people and nations. The hardest thing seems to be to just let people develop at their own pace, if they will at all, as long as they don't attack us. I have dreams of things I'd like to see us do in this country, and one of those dreams is to have the President - no, not this buffoon pretending to be POTUS, but a REAL President - initiate a program or contest to find and develop new sources of energy - an initiative the way the space program was in the 50s and 60s. But our system is so tied into oil that we can't even save ourselves for greed and short sightedness. Of course the whole thing in Iraq is obscene. What can I say? The sight of children with their limbs blown off, well, it brings tears to my eyes and there is NO justification for it. None. Michael Savage is crazy, frankly. He says some things that I agree with, but he just goes too far, and I think he thinks he's some kind of biblical prophet. He's gone over the edge. I'm surprised the Islamics haven't declared a Jihad on him. The United Nations screwd up in 1947/48 when they established Israel. While I definitely sympathize with any group of people who have been the object of genocide, such as the Jews, or Armenians, etc, to establish a country out of guilt, while there are millions of people already living there, just doesn't seem like a good idea to me. It's not practical, it never was. I don't know what the solution to European Jewry was as I understand they would be reluctant to return to lands where they were under such massive attack during the war, but on the other hand, just sticking them in Palestine and calling it Israel doesn't seem to be a great idea either. Zionism seems to be a short lived proposition to me as how can the Israelis maintain their country in the midst of such massive hostility and growing numbers of enemies? I've always said - you can't fight demographics. Maybe we should have sent them to Borneo.
You should be allowed to do that. If you have anyone who wants you to do it its between you and them. We live in tyranny so you will have to take your chances.
Without some level of certification how are we going to know if someone is minimally qualified to perform various functions - such as driving, or brain surgery? I know that the certification doesn't guarantee GOOD driving or successful brain surgery or whatever, but hopefully it confers a minimum standard.
