The video raises several issues.

At this point, I cannot support DUI checkpoints.

But as for confiscating the vehicles of those driving without insurance, having had a car totaled earlier this year by an uninsured motorist, I say get all those worthless lice off the road.

I did.

and that should not count against you for claims.

It didn't.

But that in no way excuses the irresponsible (WHITE) gutter trash who was on the road without insurance.

She failed to uphold her duty, period.

I understand wanting motorists to be financially responsible for damage they cause. But industry studies have shown that compulsory auto insurance actually raises rates for everyone. motorists.org has a lot of info on the topic.

There's an old saying regarding "lies, damned lies, and statistics".

Having produced numerous research papers over the years (and reviewed thousands), I know from experience how numbers can be fudged to produce results desired by the funding source.

That being said, anyone who acts an apologist or a safe harbor for irresponsible human behavior is wrong.
