The video raises several issues. At this point, I cannot support DUI checkpoints. But as for confiscating the vehicles of those driving without insurance, having had a car totaled earlier this year by an uninsured motorist, I say get all those worthless lice off the road.

You should have had uninsured motorist insurance, I did. and that should not count against you for claims. It didn't. But that in no way excuses the irresponsible (WHITE) gutter trash who was on the road without insurance. She failed to uphold her duty, period.

I'm really disgusted by the extreme level of functional retardation in the people. I understand wanting motorists to be financially responsible for damage they cause. But industry studies have shown that compulsory auto insurance actually raises rates for everyone. motorists.org has a lot of info on the topic.

Having produced numerous research papers over the years (and reviewed thousands), I know from experience how numbers can be fudged to produce results desired by the funding source. I'd argue that demanding govt meddling into every aspect of our lives, such as car insurance, is unnecessarry, bad, & the epitome of statism.People can handle their financial liability issues without govt,& have for eons!That is true responsibility

yea, that people take advantage is separate from the issue of govt compulsion.which is even worse,imo.Many people think bad about lawsuits but i dont.Many times, that is the only remedy for immoral acts of defendants.Court is a legit &proper role of govt.
