A sign held by one of the protesters in this viral image of a May Day immigration reform rally reads: "Give Us Free Health Care, Jobs, No Taxes, House, Food. You Owe Us America! We Will Shoot More Police in Arizona Until We Get Free!" Despite the widespread claim that it was taken in Phoenix, Arizona, visual landmarks indicate the photo was snapped in Los Angeles, where a large pro-immigrant demonstration did take place on May 1, 2010. So far no one has been able to authenticate the image, which many suspect was Photoshopped to alter the wording of the sign. Any information on its provenance, particularly with regard to locating an original, unretouched version of the image, would be greatly appreciated.
