I don't really see the problem here. They didn't want them filming at a morgue, that is understandable since no family member would want them to broadcast videos of their loved ones bodies on the news.

That's the problem, you don't see the problem. There is a big difference between showing respect for the dead and keeping a morgue secret and acting like the gestapo over it.

The Morgue has to have cold storage for the remains and they would be neatly put away. Anywhere you go you can go to morgue and talk to people who work there who are supposed to be about transparency.

THis makes no sense what so ever. They are public servants keeping the location of other public servants secret.

the media needs to ask the department under what authority that cop acted, purporting to dictate to the press, & threatening them, & even opening their door.Clear violation of 1st Am.They should also file an official complaint.The dept would apologize.

if i lived there, wherever it is, I would go there w/ videocam & film just like cnn tried to, & I'd refuse to stop when that pig threatened me.Then hed arrest me & id sue him for a lot of money, & win.Matter of fact, where is this at?

See the vid HOW TO REACT WHEN A COP TELLS YOU IT'S ILLEGAL TO TAKE PHOTOS OR VIDEOS. People need to have the confidence to resist this absolute trash, or else they will lose their rights. This type stuff really pisses me off.Shameful how scared CNN was.

I agree the cops were in the wrong about the cameras and their treatment of these members of the press. I have done cop watch with camcorders and had cps shine their large flashlights at me when it was dark enough to disturb the quality of the video.

I have also had them tell the person they are dealing with that I am making a bad situation for them and ask if they want the videotaping to stop. And when the guy says 'yes,' I've been told to stop because the persona of interest asked me to. (I usually didn't unless the person continues to object.

I hope they keep at these people and determine why the paranoia, and they cn get the cops to back pedal on this if they do. Because they clearly were in the wrong.

It makes sense if you take FEMA into account, and yes, it IS scary. Why would the bodies be kept at a secret morgue in the first place? Did the victims of the tornado die of blunt force trauma similar to the deaths of thousands of birds recently?

What is going on here?

It is vital to understand that there is no truth without discernment and no wisdom without the truth. What then is “faith” but an effort to confound truth and wisdom?
