In this breaking report Jennifer Jones addressed the city council of Quartzsite, Arizona.
She was formally recognized and began to expose the misdeeds of the city councilman, what unfolded in the video was nothing short of a mutiny. The police officers disregarded the rule of law and took her into custody.
It would do us all some good to sit in on our local Council meetings.
Don't forget to leave a stack of DVDs at the door or, on windshields.
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." Edmund Burke (maybe)
That quote may be a paraphrase of this one: "When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle." Edmond Burke
cont) they later not only added no cameras, but removed the existing ones, & the good (former) mayor is currently facing prison on corruption charges.
i wrote a letter to my city council & mayor once regarding their plan to add more red lite cameras, only to have the local police chief email me to ask if he could meet with me to address my 'concerns'. lol. I told him i wasnt concerned, i was opposed.
i found most revealling in that instance was that not one of the city reps replied, but rather forwarded the msg to the police traffic Sgt. to have them respond. I never met with the cops, wasnt interested.
Since most cops seem to believe that we're the enemy, all I know to do is return that belief.
Am I wrong?
The short answer is no you are not wrong.
I now view every cop, and cop car, with suspicion and vigilance. The Police are not your friend. They are little more, now, than armed thugs with a license to harass and intimidate. Actually protecting the community has been moved so far down the list as to be inconsequential in many cases.
absolutely not! As the old saying (& all the youtube vids) say, "Don't talk to the police". I must add though, that travelling around i have met nice professional cops in Missouri, Pennsylvania, & Ohio recently. Theyre not all bad, just humans.
