yeah but they are trying to fit the bulbs to the lamps, they need to redesign the lamps to fit LEDs. We have LEDs on the bike for brakes and turn signals as well as aesthetics. They have ones that go back and forth like KIT from Nightrider.
Oh, you can buy LED bulbs that will screw into a regular socket now. C. Crane Company has them. They are expensive although the price has come down, but if you look at the life of the bulb and the energy savings they still save money over the long run over both incandescents and "twisty bulbs".
Considering that a couple of years ago they were about 25 bucks each it is a nice price drop. The Geo-Bulbs have come down too. The first generation on them was over 100 dollars per bulb.
