Unable to get past the Casey Anthony verdict today. What planet have these people been on for the last six weeks? At what point did they get off the trolley track the rest of us are rolling on and decide that the prosecution must supply them with a motive for Casey Anthony? It’s a damn good thing they weren’t impaneled to try Ted Bundy, who had absolutely no motive at all for murdering as many as 30 young women during the 1970s. Under this jury’s standard of reasonable doubt Bundy would be at murder 200 by now. Alternate juror Number 14 provides unique incite into the mind of the modern juror, where reality exists on ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ and ‘Jersey Shore’ but is somehow elusive when found in a Hefty bag stuffed with the decaying remains of a darling little two-year-old child. “One thing the prosecution failed to do, they did not show motive,” said 14, whose name is Russell Huekler. Huekler goes on to tell Fox News anchor Greta Van Susteren that George Anthony was ‘hiding something.’ I was on the floor jumping up and down screaming, SO WAS CASEY ANTHONY, YOU DOO-DOO-FOR-BRAINS-JERRY SPRINGER-SATURATED IMBECILE! George Anthony did not party for an uninterrupted 31 days in the unexplained absence of his granddaughter! Caylee Anthony was purportedly in her mother’s care during that time. Furthermore, it was not in the jury’s instructions, nor was it incumbent on the prosecution, to show motive. That being said, Casey Anthony was the one single person who did have motive, means and opportunity to murder Caylee Anthony. So far we can only speculate as to the rationale the actual members of the Anthony jury used to arrive at their unhinged conclusion, but Huekler’s reasoning is truly scary. If prosecutors must now present locked-down forensic evidence or video proof to gain convictions, we are in serious trouble in this society. In what murky hidden corner has simple deductive reasoning been misplaced? Sherlock Holmes (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle) famously said, “Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains, no matter how improbable, must be the truth.” Full Caf Americano What is impossible in this case? It is impossible for any rational human being to believe: That Casey Anthony partied and slutted around town for 31 days while her daughter was missing and that during that time she displayed not one iota of concern for Caylee to friends or family. Why? She knew Caylee was dead. It is impossible to believe: That a clearly doting grandfather, driven to the point of attempted suicide with grief, found Caylee floating facedown in the pool and contrived an elaborate plan to cover up the accident and dispose of the body. What? Because George may have owned duct tape? So what? No evidence was ever presented to substantiate this pop-culture-level myth. It is impossible to believe: That Casey Anthony’s behavior during and after Caylee’s disappearance and discovery amounted to the actions of a ‘good mother.’ Contrarily, Anthony’s behavior demonstrated a clear knowledge of culpability in her death. In her entire time in the courtroom Anthony displayed not one ounce of concern for anyone but herself. It is impossible to believe that after a six-week trial in which more than 300 pieces of evidence pointing to no one other than Casey Anthony were presented, that this jury deliberated less than eleven hours to reach a verdict.

Here she is realizing that the most time she could spend in jail is 4 years, and more than likely she would be released soon. This Wednesday she will be released. God is always good!
Very good article, thanks for posting it. Those jurors, including the alternates apparently, had $#it for brains. I caught the same thing this man did, the idiot who said they never proved motive. It isn't necessary to prove motive. The fact that she partied for a month without informing anyone that Caylee was missing spoke volumes, at least it did to sane people.

Actually I heard tonight that they had misfigured it and that she won't be getting out Wednesday but the following Sunday (iirc). Not much more time and certainly nowhere near what she should have to serve but she will pay for killing Caylee one of these days.

Something that appears to be sorely missing in this Mess is a Usable, Comprehesive TIMELINE of events. I've been pointing out that there would be more folks able to grasp the whole sequence of events, instead of bits and pieces sometimes incorrectly. The Defense did a reasonable semblance of one in his summary or rebuttal. He used it to shoot down some Prosecution points. Always, in something as complex as this mess was, there should First be a clearcut Timeline created.
well, imo, motive was proven. who else had a motive other than Casey? no one. however, i do understand that they could not prove that she actually murdered Caylee. it could have been an accidental death that she tried to cover up, but that would still be manslaughter.
Casey killed Caylee and partied for a month before telling the lie about someone kidnapping her. How much more timeline do you need?

Oh, I agree. My point was that they are not bound by law to prove motive. And yeah, it could have been an accidental death but usually sane people call 911 when someone is injured or killed accidentally. I believe she intended to kill her.

That simple, huh? They didn't Prove that she killed the baby. I don't take statements of conclusions as Facts until there are details provided is a straight line analysis. The Engineer in me. I believe the female Casey is "probably" responsible for the baby's death. "Probably" her Father is somehow involved. The Two of them "probably" were involved in disposing of the body. The female is "Probably" a Sociopath. There are too many "probablies" that have been stated as "facts". I'm from Missouri, show me the progression. The Defense did a timeline. It/His/Theirs caused "doubt".
