Not being a rappeller or sky-diver myself, can't make an educated opinion on that question. What Ricky J says "We know that the fires were not that hot due to a woman in the North Tower waving while leaning on a steel beam looking out the hole created by the plane's impact with the building. If the fires were so hot she would not have even been there, much less touching supposedly red hot steal that was about to melt. That woman alone tells everyone with a functioning brain that the towers were demolished on purpose and the fires were not hot enough to even weaken the steel, much less cause it to collapse." has convinced me that the fires weren't that hot, though if people think they'll burn to death, might opt for jumping.
My guess is it's unlikely he could have gained that horizontal distance without being shot from a giant slingshot, but anyway it appears as though at least some of the pictures of falling people may have been faked. 9/11 was absolutely a massive theatrical cinematic psy-op. I agree with your reasoning of controlled demolition. Personally, all I need is to watch any of the "collapse"/disintegration videos to be convinced of what obviously happened.
Am posting that video because I have questions about the beams and debris ejected from the collapsing South Tower -- supposedly collapsing because the steel was softened by the heat of the fire but was still reportedly solid enough to have damaged a number of buildings in the vicinity quite severely. Yet, the North Tower directly next to it appears practically unscathed by the explosive force-field of heavy-metal beams, etc., as projectiles. Are we to think: 1. The steel beams and debris flying towards the North Tower were all too softened and gooey from the heat of the fire to impact it very much -- not so soft re: the other buildings in the area allegedly hit by ejected materials? 2. All or most of the heavy projectiles flying from the South Tower went in directions around or away from the North Tower? 3. The North Tower's aluminum cladding was super-strong enough to withstand the projectile impacts without much visible damage but still soon collapsed anyway because, like the South Tower, its steel and concrete structure was likewise not strong enough to withstand the heat? 4. The North Tower was softened so much from the heat that by the time the South Tower collapsed, everything that rammed into it bounced off of it like it was made of rubber? 5. The videos and pics which show little to no damage to the North Tower from the collapsing South Tower's flying materials are faked -- even the news footage? 6. None of the above. There must be some other explanation for the North Tower not being smashed to bits by the projectiles and air pressures impacting it from the South Tower's downfall? I realize questions like that are about as welcome as a swarm of pests, even among the Truth Movement. I'm sorry about that but there they are and I can't just dismiss them. So, I'd like to hear from anyone who can explain why the North Tower appears to be so unmarred by the South Tower's projectiles. If I'm not the only one who has such questions and there are those who don't mind saying that they do too, I'd be glad to know that. For now, I'm going to suppose that James Deffenbach's Majick Jet Fuel theory might be a factor. Edited for grammar, last paragraph, sentence 3.
