Disrobing the Culprit of Vitamin D3 Deficiency. Could it be that social evolution has made vitamin D deficiency a necessary evil? Studies have shown favorable effects on insulin secretion and insulin resistance in type 2 diabetic patients who received vitamin D3 supplementation. The study evaluated 10 females with type 2 diabetes. The patients enrolled in the study treated their diabetes with oral medications. The study was conducted in March, when levels of vitamin D are lowest due to lack of sunlight. A group of 17 females with normal glucose tolerance served as a control group. The diabetic patients were treated for a month with vitamin D3. After the month, the patient's receiving vitamin D3 had increased their insulin secretion levels significantly by 34.3%. The results showed a decrease of 21.4% in insulin resistance after one month of vitamin D3 supplementation. Back in the day, our ancestors would have full body exposure to the sun throughout the year. Nowadays, that number has been reduced to a mere 5% with only our face and hands acting as a welcome mat for the sun. A major source of vitamin D is its production in our skin as a result of UV exposure from sunlight. Lest we not take Mother Nature's generosity for granted. Everybody looks good with a little color. It'll look even better when your A1c drops as your sun-kissed glow picks up. If all else fails - you can always run off to a nudist colony where social reservations and clothing are optional! From the best that I can tell that's all that anyone was originally referring to, and wud I'm guessing simply just got fed up, which quite frankly I had been expecting by one or more posters for quite some time now. Generally that which I find tasteless I simply ignore. I've dropped in on a couple of 'dillo threads that I did not care for and so simply ignored the thread thereafter. While I tend to more or less conventional in my moral attitudes (not a saint, not a prude) I have enough of a libertarian streak to play the "live and let live" view. Whatever the genesis of dillo's viewpoint he is welcome to it. I don't share it so when I find his bizarre humor interesting I play and when I find it tasteless I don't.
so apparently this has all been discussed behind the scenes with everyone but the one person that counts. I have less respect for behind the scenes gossip than I do for anything that has been openly posted on the forum.

Whatever the genesis of dillo's viewpoint he is welcome to it. I don't share it so when I find his bizarre humor interesting I play and when I find it tasteless I don't. That is more in line with what I would have expected from members of this forum. I think that is what Dillo tried to say in one of his earlier posts but it wasn't as eloquent.

No, there isn't. I wish there were an adult section for the raunchier talk but there isn't. I wish people had engaged Dillo privately about the topic, found out the cause and perhaps counseled him on it's appropriateness but that didn't happen. I used to engage in such talk privately but even though it was private I was still ostracized and demeaned for it. I was even banned from a non public adult forum for it, to protect the children mind you. I stopped, bringing it down to what you currently see on the open forum. People think it is wrong to have an openly sexual and aggressive female even in private and they will do what ever it takes to enforce their beliefs on every situation. I don't have a "nudist resort" where I can take it. I don't have a problem with it or I would have said something to Dillo prior to this thread. and that is really for christine to decide. I also think that you and wudidiz's reactions are not in keeping with the 4um. I'm dismayed and appalled and questioning my own presence here. He over reacted to your posts because of the extreme hurt he felt from wudidiz's crap. And I told him this in private. FWIW, you also over reacted, failing to see it for what it was, a defensive reflex reaction. I would have preferred seeing a kind word from you instead. Perhaps a Dude, mellow, I wasn't attacking you, but perhaps you could dial the sex stuff back a bit. Instead you got defensive yourself. Members of this forum have repeatedly attacked me personally, calling into question my integrity and motivations. Not one person rushed to my defense, so I'm under no illusions. My response was to stick to the facts of the discussion, ignoring the personal attacks. I have developed a reputation for that in fact. I've had hangman's nooses posted to me suggesting I should die, I've had cock roaches with my name on them. I've had a poster on this forum post pictures of snakes suggesting that I was dishonest and a snake in the grass. I've had posters on this forum suggest I'm a shill for oil companies. I've had one person on this forum tell everyone in PMs about my personal habits claiming I was collecting personal information on people. One of these posters was even mentioned on this thread. When your STFU matches what I've gone through I might have some sympathy. But I would be the only one. Sympathy on this or any forum is in short supply.
