They are doing human tests in Iraq to see if this applies to humans.

"There was control group that was not stabbed. This group was merely punched. It didn't matter if we punched them 2 or 3 hundred times all they experienced was bruising. This tells us that the effects of stab wounds are more physical than psychological."

They could save money and just hang around the hospital emergency rooms of Detroit/Baltimore/Atlanta/Philadelphia/Houston on any Friday/Saturday night and get A LOT of free data there.
