I had a similar experience in a psychology class at UT Arlington where with the wrong answer given; the victim was given a shock. I told them to shove their program after the person giving the wrong answers supposedly got to a jolt of 50 volts. There was no way I would go all the way to 480 volts. Being an EE major, I felt that they were getting into very dangerous territory. Little did I know that the victim was not actually being shocked, and was only acting. I still aced the class.
