Is the Fed just an extension of European Central Banks?
Poster Comment:
You are a den of vipers and thieves. I intend to rout you out,
and by the grace of the Eternal God, will rout you out."
Andrew Jackson
(1767-1845) 7th US President
upon evicting from the Oval Office a delegation of international bankers discussing the Bank Renewal Bill, 1832
The pretended quotation from Andrew Jackson is a fake. It first appeared in a 6 page booklet published in 1928, Andrew Jackson and the Bank of the United States, by Stan V. Henkels Jr. (wherein it was reported as having been said to a delegation of bankers from the Bank of the United States, not "international" bankers). The quotation was thereafter widely cited but there is no source for it earlier than 1928 (I tried to find a pre-1928 report of this quotation in vain) and it contradicts contemporary records, according to The Ruling Elite by Deanne Spingola (2011) page 343. Singola also mentions that Jackson subsequently had favorable dealings with the London branch of Rothschild.

I would tend to agree with this. After all, when Cornwallis surrendered to Washington, he made a prediction, roughly, that "the U.S. would be brought back under the wing of the British Empire."
