It's great regardless of any of that, but it's astonishing they continued to function without Brian. It's a miracle Dennis Wilson survived that recording session, he looks pretty far gone. Still, this is one of the most beautiful songs ever written, so here goes:

She had a long and lovely life and I was blessed to have her, but adjusting to life without her here has been rough.

Sounds like you gave her the very best life you could. You won't forget her but the pain will lessen over time.
