I am opposed to Zionism but these guys are going too far.
Same here. Now, recall when Geo Washington, dressed in full Masonic regalia, held up a copy of the Koran and said, "We need to keep these people out." The Masons have been running this country from the start.
"When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall, one by one." Edmund Burke
Now, recall when Geo Washington, dressed in full Masonic regalia, held up a copy of the Koran and said, "We need to keep these people out."
That might certainly go viral if such a moment and such a quote can be documented. I'd be grateful for a source on the words that you have cited in your post.
There is another act of our first president that has found prolific currency on the internet to the effect that George Washington "personally welcomed Muslims to come work for him at Mount Vernon." A more precise citation makes the rounds that goes like this:
When George Washington was asked in 1784 what kind of workers should be hired to work on Mount Vernon, he responded by stating that they should hire the best workers, regardless of their background: If they are good workmen, they may be from Asia, Africa or Europe; they may be Mahometans, Jews, Christians of any sect, or they may be Atheists...
On neither account can I find a source for these words spoken or written on these occasions. I do not like it much to see quotes attributed to figures that we all hold in high esteem like George Washington or Thomas Jefferson posted with abandon to enlist the passions and prejudices of folks who who hold to one cause or another. There are few things that obstruct honest discussion than recourse to obscure and unfounded citations.
