The Feds have turned food into a sickeningly addictive substance that makes our children sick, obese and doomed to die young.

It is hypocracy of the worst kind to rant about the drug problem when food is engeneered not for nutrition, but to be fattening and addictive with the primary goal to make the corporations selling this crap rich.

We spend well over 100 billion dollars in added health care costs to deal with the problem this crap food creates in our country. There is no excuse for a raid like this one.

If they really want to be helpful, they would hang the executive staff of companies like McDonalds, Jack in the Box and Burger Kings and close their food versions of crack houses.

Well if the former Soviet Union, the PRC, Myanmar, etc., are any indication, we can look forward to much, much, much more. We haven't even seen the tip of the iceberg yet.

By the time everything's said and done, political forums like this will have been outlawed for decades and the anti-government opinions we see expressed today will result in execution. Make no mistake: the two-party fraud will not cease it's tyranny. They are going to become more and more authoritarian as time goes on with the complete backing of the majority of the American people.

Uh, Mike? The government is not here to help you or anyone.

The FDA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Big Pharma and Big Food. Wholesomeness or efficacy are not issues. Control and profitability ARE

Ditto the USDA which is owned by corporate agriculture (Monsanto, Cargill, ADM, etc., ...) and is in the business of suppressing competition. That is why we now have USDA Organic - a lower standard than Oregon Tilth which the big McFuud processors could more easily meet and use to exclude other healthy foods in competition.

Just as Obamacare® is not about healthcare, or making it affordable, it is about protecting Big Pharma's Oligopoly, by excluding alternatives to their toxic Pharmacidal products. For the same reason we get the war on food and the FDA assaulting producers of wholesome foods for touting their benefits - such as going after Walnut producers for putting known scientific data on their benefits on the package - that to do so somehow now makes it a "drug" that has to be field trialed and controlled by prescription from the Medical Priesthood. If the Sheeple were ever allowed to realize that their are nontoxic, and often more effective, alternatives to Big Pharma's products that would be bad for profits. Who cares if people would be healthier?

In fact if you dig into ANY, and I do mean ANY, Federal Regulatory agency you will find a seething cesspool of corruption and that the agency operates to protect the industry not the people.

Then if you are really industrious and really want to know how the planet is run you'll trace back through the interlocking directorates and majority control of the corporations creating the most havoc and you will find (SURPRISE!!!) THAT THEY ALL TRACE BACK TO THE SAME SMALL COTERIE OF HYPER-WEALTHY PSYCHOTICS.

If you do a good job of tracing you will find that all roads lead to The City of London Banking District, and that the philosophy underlying it is a perverse Malthusian Eugenics Paradigm (Materialism). Even further you can trace the philosophy used to motivate and justify a lot of this comes from organized Psychiatry which views man as animal no different from any other animal and having no more inherent natural rights than a hog or a sheep.

We need a program of psychosurgery for political control of our society. The purpose is physical control of the mind. Everyone who deviates from the given norm can be surgically mutilated. The individual may think that the most important reality is his own existence, but this is only his personal point of view. . . Man does not have the right to develop his own mind. . . . We must electronically control the brain. Someday armies and generals will be controlled by electronic stimulation of the brain."
Dr. Jose M.R. Delgado, Director of Neuropsychiatry at Yale University Medical School, Congressional Record, No. 26, Vol. 118, Feb. 24, 1974. Delgado was reported as part of the "MK-Ultra" CIA mind-control program.

"Most of the almost innumerable books, pamphlets, and other publications issued by the sponsors of the mental health program are purposely and craftily disingenuous, disguising its real and ultimate purpose: ... the ultimate reduction of every individual in this world, except the favored few who conceive of themselves as possessed of an incomparable genius in their ability to direct the affairs of others, into... a common servile obeisance to his master, the State...."
Mental Robots, by Dr. Lewis Albert Alesen

"It is the 'zoomorphic' or 'rattomorphic' fallacy -- the expressed or implicit contention that there is no essential difference between rat and man -- which makes American psychology so profoundly disturbing."

And if you drink Aspartame/Nutra-Sweet/Amino-Sweet drinks and foods you increase the likelihood of diabetes beyond what excessive sugar consumption does, but that's alright the government says it's good for you - just ask Donald Rumsfeld who applied the pressure to get it approved.

I just had a former girl fiend whom I could not for the life of me get to stop drinking that crap who had diabetes die in her sleep.

I did get her to get her rotten molars taken out and replaced with dentures because I confinced her the infections in her head could kill her.

I know what that crap taste like only from accidentally taking a swig on the wrong drink can. It is disgusting and tastes horrible.

It should be a crime to make and sell crap like that.

Uh, no; I wasn't born yesterday. We don't agree on everything; but I stay informed and there is no point in talking down to me.

All three of my sisters have had cancer, one of them is dead. my Mom? Dead of cancer. I know/knew their food and in some cases tobacco habits, and my brother died of a sickness he was in a coma for over a month from. He was anything but someone who ate healthy.

I eat organic and no longer touch even the occasional soda, or pop as we call it here in Oregon. I do not eat fast foods, my BP is in a healthy range and have no cholesterol problem. My low pulse has scared my doctor before, but he calmed down when he found out how long I have been athletically inclined.

You need not worry about my awareness level on the food topic.

Sorry, the debil made me do it. No, I don't think you are stupid. I just haven't forgiven you for supporting the House Boy in the Whitehouse. Obamacare is everything I said it would be, long before it was passed, and worse.

I think diet, along with exposure to chemical toxins, are one of the big determinants as far as lifespan goes. Tobacco is variable. If one imbibes the nasty product that is mass produced it is loaded with chemicals both from pesticides and "additives". It is interesting to note, in a study I read a few years ago, that the incidence of lung cancer among smokers skyrocketed with the introduction of the filter cigarette in the early 1930's. The theory being that the cellulose fiber, from which most filters are made, breaks loose microfibers that embed in the lung wall, and then don't break down. Tobacco is still a bad habit but it is hard to tell how bad given the way the commercial product is adulterated. I know my grandfather, who lived to within ten days of his 100th birtday and still walked 5 miles a day through most of his 90's, quit smoking because of the perceived health risk - at 85. Among the more annoying attributes of tobacco use, to anti-smoking Nazis, are a couple of recent studies that showed that smokers had a lower incidence of Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's disease, and remained sharp later in life than non-smokers. I know the former oldest woman in the world, who passed on at 124, still enjoyed an occasional cigarette and cheap red wine. My mother who had quit smoking at 35 died of Breast Cancer at 69.

I have to admit I still enjoy a daily soda, but I am very selective. I do not drink any that are sweetened with High Fructose Corn Death.

Like you I eat mostly organic and keep my own organic garden.

Oh, and I did not think you ignorant on the food topic just naive on the beneficence of overarching and corrupt government.

I am not, surprise, a fan of government. My attitude is much as Thomas Paine's that, "Government is at its best a necessary evil, and at its worst an intolerable one."

Why is raw milk so good?

It is unpasteurized. While pasteurization sterilizes milk it also, because of the heat, disrupts some of the enzymes which turns them into heart and arterial wall damaging free radicals.

Homogenization forces the milk through a microscreen to break up the fat, cream, and turn it into tiny spheres of fat which are small enough to make it through your digestive tract undigested. Once in the blood stream the accumulate causing build up in your arteries.

The risk of raw milk is if the cows become contaminated with disease or infection they can pass it on in their milk and affect humans who drink it.

Better than raw or pasteurized milk is no milk. An adult human does not need it in their diet, and a lot of people are sensitive to it - in part because of the lactose (milk sugar).
