The people involved in this sport are called recortadors. The object is not to kill the bull but to jump over him in various ways and avoid getting the horn(s). I don't like traditional bullfights where the bull almost always gets killed but I like the true skills shown in this "bull fight."

Yes, if I remember correctly the sport of jumping over the bulls goes back to the Cretes and Minoans. The only places I know of where they continue today is in southern Spain and northern France.
