Citing privacy concerns and the difficulty involved in deleting a Facebook account, Anonymous hopes to "kill Facebook," the "medium of communication [we] all so dearly adore." This isn't the first time Anonymous has spoken out against social networks. After Google removed Anonymous' Gmail and Google+ accounts, Anonymous pledged to create its own social network, called AnonPlus. Everything you do on Facebook stays on Facebook regardless of your "privacy" settings, and deleting your account is impossible, even if you "delete" your account, all your personal info stays on Facebook and can be recovered at any time. How many here have a social network account? If so, how much do you use it? Thanks, and no, I don't have one.
i have a FB account. my son created it for me. i enjoy it because i am able to be in touch with so many friends and family that i never would have otherwise. i have political friends, dance friends, high school friends, extended family, and more that i interact with. it's also a great for me to keep up with various events that i'm interested in.
Yeah, my wife would lose hers, and I dont use one...meh I think we could all be fine with just a little more light shined on facebooks over reaching inquiries and reports.
