THE IOWA STRAW POLL MYSTERY

August 13, 2011 by

(E.Nordstrom of FederalJack)   The official number of votes counted in the 2011 Iowa Straw Poll is 16,892. The general breakdown of the total is as follows:

4823 – Michelle Bachmann

4671 – Ron Paul
2293 – Pawlenty
1657 – Santorum
1456 – Cain
718 – Perry
567 – Romney
385 – Gingrich
69 – Huntsman
35 – McCotter

Ok, so let’s add up the votes (4823 + 4671 + 2293 + 1657 + 1456 + 718 + 567 + 385 + 69 +35 = 16,674). But wait a minute, the total votes counted were 16,892 right? So, of the total votes counted in the Iowa Straw Poll amounting to 16,892. The ten candidates listed above garnered 16,674. Well that leaves 218 votes unaccounted for.

So where did the remaining 218 votes go?

MSNBC has reported that the 218 is actually only 162 votes that are a “scattering” of ballots for candidates receiving less than one percent of the votes. Ok, fine, so who are these candidates? In addition, if as MSNBC is reporting it is only 162 and not 218, then where did the other 56 votes go? Hey! Let’s confuse the public even more!

Let’s move on shall we?

FOX News and most other news outlets seem to have solved this mystery. Instead of accuracy in reporting, they simply resort to saying, “Bachmann received 28 percent of the nearly 17,000 votes cast.” No need to count the votes, just say “nearly 17,00083;.

Source: http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/08/13/finally-here-ames-straw-poll-first-test-2012/#ixzz1UxkpX8nE

To be very clear, Congressman Ron Paul and Senator Michele Bachmann only had 152 votes difference in the Straw Poll.

Bachmann wins by 152 votes, meanwhile 218 votes seem to be unaccounted for publicly. While I am sure there is a very good reason for the missing votes, this is precisely what causes distrust of government and the media.

One other mystery is why media outlets seem to erase Ron Paul from most headlines and instead replace him with Rick Perry.

Two good examples are the Washington Post who have an article posted entitled, “Bachmann wins Iowa straw poll as Perry jumps in” just below the title is a photo of Ron Paul.

Source: http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/bachmann-wins-iowa-straw-poll-as-perry-jumps-in/2011/08/13/gIQAvYewDJ_story.html?hpid=z1

Another one is from Salon with an article entitled, “Let the fight for the right begin” just below the title is a photo of Bachmann and Rick Perry, then below the photo the article begins with, “Technically, the margin of victory for Michele Bachmann at Saturday’s Iowa straw poll was slight, with second-place finisher Ron Paul falling just 152 votes (or 0.9 percentage points) short of her tally. But everyone knows that Paul is a niche candidate.”

In closing I suppose we have two mysteries.

1. Where are the 218 unaccounted for votes?

2. Why are media outlets replacing Ron Paul’s second place victory with Rick Perry?

I am sure you all have answers, feel free to comment in. Subscribe to *US INDUSTRIAL WAR MACHINE*

2. Why are media outlets replacing Ron Paul’s second place victory with Rick Perry?

They are hoping people get confused and think Ron Paul and Rick Perry are the same person. Same initials anyway. Obviously they are trying to jump start Rick Perry's campaign by associating him with the second place winner of the Iowa straw poll that he was not even a part of.

God is always good!

It's becoming obvious that Ron Paul's MESSAGE resonates with the people. Bachmann's message is no different than the other trolls the republicraps are offering up so it's difficult to understand her popularity. She, Romney and Perry appear to be the media choices since they fall all over themselves to publicize every minute detail of these three while almost completely ignoring the grass roots popularity of RON PAUL who's campaign platform is 180 degrees out from everyone elses.

The media is torturing Ron Paul's campaign but they'll need Diebold to defeat him this time.

They needed Diebold last time, and they know it. I'm still convinced that RP outright won some of the early Straw Polls and Primaries last time around, but the results were controlled so as to prevent the appearance of widespread support. They'll play the same game this time, and more, they'll just let him have a few second place finishes to keep it from being too obvious that the vote is manipulated. To some extent he has them trapped because they can't let him win, from their perspective, and so in their arrogance, it having worked once, they will play the same game again. As you rightly point out his support continues to grow and the more people understand what he is saying, not what the Presstitutes say he's saying, the more the presstitutes lose credibility, and the greater his support, but the Banksters and Psychiatrists operating the puppet strings will not admit that and will not allow the controlled whores of the media to admit that. They can't because much of their power depends upon the psychological illusions they have created.

Edit: To correct typo.

Had Perry been in Iowa Paul would have won by a large margin !

Maybe, that's why he went to South Carolina !

Very possible. Since they are both Texans if Paul stomps Perry in the first outing then he is done. So, that may well be the calculation.

My point was that Perry dilutes the neo-con club vote since he's just like the rest of "them" and Paul's not. Ron Paul would have had the same number of votes and each of the others would have lost whatever Perry received.

To some extent he has them trapped because they can't let him win, from their perspective, and so in their arrogance, it having worked once, they will play the same game again.

They always repeat a winning game over and over again. We musn't let them get away with it this time around!

Who knows, but they may have been manipulating the paper ballots all along, but we were not suspicious until the diebold machines came on line.

It is vital to understand that there is no truth without discernment and no wisdom without the truth. What then is “faith” but an effort to confound truth and wisdom?

Oh, count on it - they have been manipulating it for quite some time. However, with the introduction of the electronic votefraud machines it has become easier and more widespread.

For how it has been done in the past read "Votescam" by the Collier brothers.
