Hey...where is Cynicom? I hope that he is doing well and knows that he is missed around here. I saw this image and it reminded me of Cyni....

That I know. I got on his case about that about as much as he got on Ron Paul's case. Seemed for a while there that he could turn any thread into a Ron Paul bashfest. Had a serious spat with him at first, but later learned to not take it so seriously. I just don't remember reading any pro-ME-war postings from him. But I'll take your word for it unless he comes back to say otherwise.
I don't think he was so much pro ME war as he was pro military. He would defend the troops no matter what.

I wouldn't exactly call Asatru paganism. Asatru predates Christyinsanity by thousands of years and unlike Christyinsanity, Asatru is based on strength rather than grovelling and fellating jews. Cyni was always a supporter of the troops (grunts). He was not a supporter of war and hated the upper echelon of the military--those who sent the men and women into war. We agreed on that, but I make a distinction between those who enlist today and those who were drafted whereas Cyni has sympathy and a soft spot for all of them.

Not surprising, Asatru is hated by the jews, and kept out of the mainstrean consciousness because of the Nine Noble Virtues which are the antithesis of judaism. One of the symbols of Asatru is Thor's Hammer. I use it as the logo on equipment I build. The graphics shop I use, just up the road in New Haven, is owned by Asatruars. They make all my decals & paint masks for me. Any color, any design, any size, two hours. Nice people. Of course, the ADL says that Thor's Hammer is extremist symbology and anybody who uses it is a terrorist and should be killed. So much the better.

I've told you this before, but let me repeat it My apostate position on Christyinsanity and subsequent conversion to agnostic with Asatru/Bushido leanings has nothing to do with Jews. I've had problems with the doctrines of Christianity since I was a child attending Catechism. I've tried Catholicism, Evangelical (born again) and finally Orthodox Christianity. Believe it or not, I'm actually still a member of an Orthodox Church, but rarely attend. I discovered Asatru in the mid 90s (thanks internet) and realized I had been living my life to it's tenants. Again, I was already living my life to the Virtues of Asatru, not even knowing Asatru existed. There was nothing for me to convert to, I am as I've always been. Jews had nothing to do with it.
