Health See other Health Articles Title: Beware of the Vitamin E Fraud! Sunflower seeds are a good source of vitamin E. Muddying the scientific waters is easy. Your doctor reads papers that hide essential details that make nonsense of his understanding. He or she then passes the misleading, incomplete information to you! Years ago the family of three Drs. Shute found that vitamin E, like vitamin C, is outstanding for cardiovascular health. Shouted down by their colleagues, they started their own journal to get the truth out. Recently, vitamin E (like vitamin C) has been perceived by doctors to be a real threat to medical livings. Coincidentally, the authorities have reduced the recommended daily amount of vitamin D against all objections. This is a monstrous threat to public health. Why am I so vehement and condemnatory? Doctors have a duty to practice ethically and conservatively. Is it for veterinary surgeons with National Stud of Canada to show that mares in foal have higher live birth rates when given vitamin E? Why arent the doctors who advise national Olympic teams telling the world that the same vitamin E has supplemented horses that subsequently won more races? They say reduce saturated fats like butter and use more margarines and oils like rapeseed, sunflower, corn, ground nut, and others. These oils are all dangerous. Thats right. Knowledgeable people wash them off their hands. But these oils also come to us in bakery and bread products, tinned sardines, ready meals, and salad dressingwithout the vitamin E with which they were richly formed in the seed source. At 300 degrees, the vitamin is lost. Why was it there? To stop the oils from very quickly going rancid! And rancidity in the cell walls of our brains is as unhealthy as it sounds! What is natures protection against this oxidation and rancidity that makes you quickly and very advisedly spit out an old nut without swallowing it? Vitamin E! Once the vitamin E is gone, the doctors advised food becomes a toxic poison: not a drop-dead or see-you-worse-tomorrow poison, but one that slowly undermines the foundations of your health, setting you up perhaps, for an eventual coronary thrombosis. How can I be so positive? Occasionally, I have found no improvement in the retinal arteries and their obstructions to blood flow after people have taken my prescribed vitamins C and E. I have then been surprised to see sudden improvements after explaining this. I started by reference to muddying the waters. Scientific papers can shout, No advantage with vitamin E in physicians heart study! What they may be hiding is the fact that a synthetic form was used. There are eight components of natural vitamin Efour tocopherols and four tocotrienolsthat are slowly being researched. Buried deep in many papers where physicians dont look (and might fail to understand if they did look) is the deception that dl vitamin E was used. Did you spot it?
