MSNBC has however, skewed the graph to make it look like RP only has about 15% more than Romney, even though he has over twice as many votes. Comments are interesting and positive for RP.

I watched the debate and didn't think Ron actually debated very well. His responses were clumsy when the opportunity availed itself which wasn't very often.
I think Ron Paul is the only acceptable candidate but I'm afraid he debates poorly. When he begins to respond, I think his mind floods with thoughts that get bottled up in his mouth. I wish I were wrong. Ron also said that building a border fence might end up "keeping us in" rather than keeping illegals out. Though he could very well be correct the general public might think the crazy uncle escaped the attic.
I thought Newt the grinch actually responded the best though he didn't mean a word of it. He said he would "audit the Fed" ... Newt is a third wave Fabian socialist. Liars have been successful in getting elected in America for a very long time so why change a winning strategy ?
Huntsman did a fair job and if the claims he made about the job he did as Governor of Utah are true ... he's a talented and capable man. Huntsman is a globalist billionaire and it didn't appear the others on the panel wanted to debate him. I thought he came across as a little arrogant.
Herman Cain came across as a results oriented problem solver but had limited opportunities to speak. He would have had a better chance before Obama screwed things up for black Presidential candidates.
It was clear that Romney, Perry and Bachmann were given much more debate time than the rest. Bachmann made every response a chance to say everything is a very serious crisis. She voted for the Patiot Act .. nuff said.
Santorum didn't get much time and didn't have any effect.
Most of the candidates are very obvious globalist puppets and their records prove it. Ron Paul is the only anti - FED Reserve, anti-war, anti-foreign aid, Pro-Constitution candidate ... the rest are tokens.
This wasn't any damned debate. This was "democrat reporters quiz republican candidates for two excruciating hours." It is proof of what suckers pubbies are that they put up with this s**t.
I think you were spot on about Ron Paul. His answers were poorly modulated and not well focused. That was in part because the establishment interrogators masquerading as moderators gave Paul very little face time. Those brief moment when RP got to speak were spent playing catch up. It seemed to me that he was getting a bit riled too at the shoddy treatment he was receiving. I don't think that helped his performance.
I couldn't take more than an hour of this charade. I was disappointed. I have seen RP turn on the fire works at events like this. Never-the-blinking-less, it was good to see the results this morning. Eighty thousand votes is a strong sample.

I tend to agree with your comment, but IMO RP's ideas can't be expounded on in 30 seconds or less. These formats are a disservice to any thinking American, but what's new in the zoo? We live in a moronic world where political sound bites, physical appearance, and allegiance to globalism are weighed more favorably than critical thinking. That said, I'm glad this poll has him on top and if he can continue to hang around close to the top two candidates, his message will be impossible for the MSM to ignore.

I agree ! His message is grinding its way into the other candidates responses, ie., the FED RESERVE.
did you know that huntsman is romney's cousin? he is also a real POS & has admitted he is for forced govt 'health care' & that we need to fight 'climate change'. 2 mormon freaks we do not need.

I didn't know they were cousins but I agree we don't need either of them in the oval office.

As we do not need this entire regiment of globalist approved, freak-show haircuts offered up in opposition to the democrat circus act in DeeCee.
yeah it seems the media likes to keep it low key that they are cousins, just like bush & kerry. When i 1st heard of the mormon governor billionare i thought something stunk & did some research on him.

The two turds performing their zio-roles as moderators were especially annoying. I kept hoping that Michelle Bachmann would keel over in one of her migraine attacks and start foaming in her mouth and ranting about nuking Iran to save Israel....

Newt Gingrich slapped the moderators around a couple of times and stood up for the candidates as a group vs the leftist-premise of the questions, not that it made Newt any less reprehensible for his neocon positions.

i get soooo tired of him always invoking Ronald Reagan's name. that's all he's got.
RP isn't polished like some of the others (who wants a polished bullsh!tter anymore), but i thought what he did say was sagacious and topical. from the results of the poll, so did the majority of viewers.
People are beginning to wake up to the fact Ron Paul is the real thing; an honest, competent man who damn well knows what he is talking about and is not afraid to fact facts and operate with integrity.
It's sad that we have not had enough people like him in presidential races for people to recognize this right off the bat. I really am hoping that Dr. Paul's campaign really catches the collective imagination this time.
This country really needs this; the Constitution is all but on it's death bed without couragious and capable people like Ron Paul putting up a credible and empowered fight to save it from oblivion.
"The United States today is like a cruise ship on the Niagara River upstream of the most spectacular falls in North America. A few people on board have begun to pick up a slight hiss in the background, to observe a faint haze of mist in the air or on their glasses, to note that the river current seems to be running slightly faster. But no one yet seems to have realized that it is almost too late to head for shore." -- Historian and author Chalmers Johnson"
Occasionally though he lets out with comments like, "This fence could be used to keep us in," to paraphrase.
The vast majority of the audience is not capable of processing statements like this. This kind of stuff just blows their transistors and feeds the kook campaignology.

I didn't watch the debate, and maybe he didn't do so well last night, but based on what I have seen him do before on stage, I disagree with the notion that he debates poorly. On a previously debate this season he was hitting grand slam after grand slam on stage. I can believe though that he might have been irritated at being ignored and probably asked mundane questions this time around, so if he didn't do well this time I can only think that was the reason why.
But then maybe I'm wrong. (Wouldn't be the first time.) As of this moment:

CNN is trying to pretend that Ron Paul isn't a candidate -- just CNN's favored picks. That's an example of why it's known as the Communist News Network.
