I would assume, since she makes the point that she also used female relatives to connect the Presidents, that she might be related on the Dunham side of the Obama ancestry. She does mention that she is of French extraction.

Not really so amazing. Some years ago some statistician figured out that everyone on earth is not further than a 20th cousin to anyone else.
