So Sue and I are coming up I 25 in Pueblo from a 15 day Utah camping trip, and we get on I 25 to Colorado Springs. So in Pueblo here is a whole train with nothing but gigantic rotors for wind electrical generation. A whole train each giant car with a giant rotor. An amazing sight.

picture triggered a memory. I have seen similar going up I-5.
maybe on their way to the columbia gorge...
Thought my cell phone camera had a photo of the train. Sorry.
that's a possibility. They were on I-5 just outside Sac heading north. Right next to the Arco arena. Has a different name now that nobody uses.
if they were coming up from south, they may have missed the I-80 turnoff in that rat's nest interchange at the 5/80 intersection... lots of wind farms in the bay area. i've got lost a couple times in that interchange, through inattention... wound up blasting through the rice paddies on the back roads in the dead of night, raging, at 120 mph.
