meanwhile, you've got to realize that "the light is awful poor" is a good song, which accounts for the activity on this thread.
according to the LA songwriters' showcase, it's the best song i wrote... this in the 70s.
so you've got to take the performance with a grain of salt, because a good song will survive almost anything.
i got to say that now i'm incapable of surviving the stress that produced that song, i refuse to participate in situations that cause that kind of stress, and i guess you could sum it up by saying i just dont give enough of a shit anymore.
