They're natural socialists and therefore destroyers of society.

The majority of registered voters in the US are women.

If they ever start to vote exclusively as a special interest there will be no more wars, no more Allied Petroleum Expeditionary Forces And there won't be one flag draped casket for every million frauds in Exxon's quarterly profit statement.

To the women who read this I quote Walt Kelly who was also his creation, Pogo:

"We have met the enemy and it is us."

Actually it was condensed from this:

"There is no need to sally forth, for it remains true that those things which make us human are, curiously enough, always close at hand. Resolve, then, that on this very ground, with small flags waving and tiny blasts of tiny trumpets, we shall meet the enemy, and not only may he be ours, he may be us."

It is to your credit that despite your intelligence so many of you are loyal to male dominated political parties and ideas. I suspect that most either don't sense your potential power or you dare not ponder it, just as so many will not take responsibility for your own defense by acquiring firearms and the requisite skills to use them. (It must terrify women to contemplate the possibility that once emasculated, knights in Camo Kevlar may not love them.)

And those of you who dare to publicly think outside the box (no vulgar entendre intended) are set upon and savaged like Cindy Sheehan who dared to micturate on the altar of war profits in general and petroleum profits in particular, those taken from dead Arabs, Muslims and those who don't love our Ashkenazi masters with all the free oil they could give before Allah (PBUH) himself closes the valve. Cindy was brutalized, and not just for failing to support business ("You have meddled with the primal forces of nature, Mrs. Sheehan!") but for the unforgivable crime of embracing the vision of a world governed without testosterone or armor piercing projectiles, both of which we cheerfully reward with multicolored plumage and posthumous ribbons...

She's a heart broken mother who not only supported US policies but her son's decision to enlist before she lost Casey and learned the truth.

And, there are readily identifiable people who were responsible for Specialist Casey Sheehan's death. And had he died in a legitimate struggle for our freedom (The American Revolution definitely and The War Of 1812 probably meet the criteria, the latter if for no other reason because of the "impressment of American merchant sailors into the Royal Navy._wiki) I have no doubt that Cindy would bear her grief with quiet dignity and wear her gold star mother's necklace with pride.

But, the ugly truth devastated this blindly loyal patriot mother. And she has already demonstrated to my satisfaction a courage seldom seen especially in the face of such frightening opposition, much more frightening than any enemy. At least she could shoot first at a declared enemy. I shudder to think of all the Free Republicans who'd assassinate any unarmed female anti war protester they could as long as the risks to their own back stabbing skins were minimal.

I'm sorry to say that too many Americans trumpet their support for the war machine to hide their cowardice. What point is there to cheer leading for that which they wouldn't dream of publicly opposing? Do you know anyone who admires the KGB snitches in the former Soviet Union? Does anyone really believe that they actually had a choice, and then they made it?

QUOTE: "(I)'d take Cindy watching my back before a lot of men i can think of..."

Yes, on balance I'd say that to sandpaper a cougar cub's tender little bottom and wait for his snarling mommy's swift response or to bet my life that Cindy Sheehan wouldn't bust a cap in my ass would carry equal risks.

Criticism

An editorial in Slate by Christopher Hitchens criticized Sheehan, calling her analysis of the 2003 Iraq War as taking "a short course in the Michael Moore/Ramsey Clark school of Iraq analysis and has not succeeded in making it one atom more elegant or persuasive"[100] and ridiculing her claim about speaking in the name of her son.[100]

In a 2005 segment of political commentator[101][102] Bill O'Reilly said Sheehan was never a protestor, but a "a political player, whose primary concern is embarrassing the president."[103]

No, brother and sisters, despite Cindy's socialist leanings (which explains how she could have been fooled into believing another false doctrine-her political analysis skills were of the "weak, campus radical" variety) I hope my courage is never tested to the extent hers has been. I'd hate to lose a loved one or a dear friend and learn that compared to Cindy Sheehan I'm a chickenshit, too.

She's taken everything they could throw at her and is still standing. If anything she has come out stronger.

No one should pay too much attention to Christopher Hitchens. I pay none and find I am just as well off.

Well said, 'dawg. She's a tough gal who hasn't been sucked into the D v R trap (that I know of)
