playing around with audio this morning i was downloading some radio programs and thought i'd listen to something more substantial, so i looked up Bishop Sheen & found a vast library of free programs,. I have probably heard most all of them since i grew up listening to this library on audiocassette. but it is nice to see it again. here is the archive, thought you might like it. His talks listed by topic. http://www.fultonsheen.com/Fulton-Sheen-MP3.cfm
Thanks Artisan. This brings back memories of St Thomas Aquinas in the late 50s. Bishop Sheen was watched by my entire neighborhood way back when. BTW, back then I delivered the Brooklyn Tablet. It was a weekly Catholic newspaper that had a heavy touch of the old Father Coughlin message. A friend still has some, believe it or not. If I get my hands on them, I can get them to you, but I'd want them back for a keepsake. The articles will blow you away as to their accuracy.
Oh, gosh, I've never heard of that paper. Care to xerox a few pages for my collection? I used to dig the Wanderer -- guess they'd never hire a Joe Sobran today! Have also dug Catholic World Report. Dr. Fields (Thundebolt/Truth at Last) has reprinted some of Coughlin's Social Justice material. Y'all's music choices are making me feel old -- or interplanetary. But I'm glad younger people than myself are in the Cause, if only by 10-20 years. Sure don't know many personally!
