Marines Headed to Occupy Wall Street to Protect Peaceful New York City Protesters?

Possibility that Marines (part of the 99%) Will Head to NYC to Protect Occupy Wall Street Protesters

LIBERTY PLAZA, NY (INTERNET) - The Daily Kos reported Saturday evening that a message is going out for volunteer marines to descend upon New York City to protect the protesters utilizing their right for peaceful assembly to protest wrongs in this great nation.

Posted around 10 am EST on Facebook, Cynthia Johnston, Audrey Molsky, Andrew Ryan Gilligan and 1,109 others liked the post as of 12:34 am EST. There were a total of 764 shares so far as well.

Whether the message will spread and whether the US Marines (retired or otherwise) will show up in New York City at Liberty Plaza to protect the protesters remains to be seen. There have been a lot of complaints about the NYPD treatment of protesters since the peaceful assembly began on September 17, 2011.

 Posted on Facebook earlier today:

The Marines are coming to Wall St...(to PROTECT the protestors)

"I'm heading up there tonight in my dress blues. So far, 15 of my fellow marine buddies are meeting me there, also in Uniform.

I want to send the following message to Wall St and Congress:

I didn't fight for Wall St. I fought for America. Now it's Congress' turn.

My true hope, though, is that we Veterans can act as first line of defense between the police and the protester. If they want to get to some protesters so they can mace them, they will have to get through the Fucking Marine Corps first. Let's see a cop mace a bunch of decorated war vets.

I apologize now for typos and errors. Typing this on iPhone whilst heading to NYC. We can organize once we're there. That's what we do best. If you see someone in uniform, gather together.

A formation will be held tonight at 10PM.

We all took an oath to uphold, protect and defend the constitution of this country. That's what we will be doing.

Hope to see you there!!"

Daily Kos had over 100 comments on the piece at the time this is being reported. The validity of the post remains to be seen, but this could change things dramatically as the two week peaceful protests continue.

Zuccotti Park = LIBERTY PLAZA

A park in New York City has been renamed unofficially by its current inhabitants according to the Livestream coming from the event. Zuccotti Park has been dubbed "Liberty Plaza."

Mainstream media and bloggers are reporting here and there, the LIVESTREAM has been up and down for most of the protests. Still, it has remained one of the best source of information about the Assembly of peaceful protesters in New York City.

According to a statement on the Occupy Wall Street website,  the movement represents anger over what they call the principle of “profit over and above all else.”

“The one thing we all have in common is that We Are The 99% that will no longer tolerate the greed and corruption of the 1%,” the statement said. Demonstrators at the event echoed that sentiment according to media reports

Fuck Wall Street and D.C. - they've screwed the pooch one too many times and now fido wants to bite the greedy, conniving, thieving, murdering, shit eating, motherfuckers ...

while this protest is being organized and run by some pretty swarthy lefties it's something being done about a problem that must be addressed by ALL Americans if they want to stop the full fledged economic assault being waged against middle America.

One thing's certain, this economic catastrophe is a pre-planned systemic attack by and through fraud and collusion by the very people entrusted to protect America and Americans.

When you give the Shysters (code for Jew Banker cocksuckers) a monopoly on currency and credit creation without transparency you have a recipe for goyim stew.

Wake up arse-holes -

Americans are a desperately dysfunctional society that mirrors a battered wife; too weak to fight back and beginning to enjoy the rush caused by the constant abuse.

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

The US Marines are a pack of PC fags who haven't won a war - despite having the best technology known to mankind - since WWII. This article REEKS of bullshit for countless reasons, but mostly because it paints the baby killing US military as a friend to the common man.

No way Jose.

The same can be said for EVERY branch of the service. And I don't know about today, but back when I was in we were far from being "PC fags". In fact JT, I doubt you'd get away with saying that too loud near any Marine base.

Nothing personal, FL, but fuck them and especially fuck the Hessian cock suckers who voluntarily keep the MIC propped up with their "service." They don't represent me, and RP is right; they're killing innocent people w/o the benefit of a trial. These aren't heroes and the quicker some realize that, the sooner the unprovoked invasions of sovereign nations will stop.

Yeah, well that's predictable. Lotsa out of work, outta luck folks out there, and most of them are going to be Democrats as are the kids, in or out of school. These peeps have the spare time to go out and raise hell with the city and the cops and sleep overnight in the park.

Too many of us who remember what it was like raising hell have responsibilities these days. There's a bunch going on all over though. There's Occupy Chicago and Occupy Boston and Occupy San Diego and even Occupy Houston, ferchrissakes. We need to get out and make sure that some Bill of Rights, patriot type voices are heard too.

You can bet he'd get his ass handed to him. Sounds like something a draft doger would say. Maybe JT never served in the military. My husband served as a military policeman in the army from 1960 thru 1963. At 6'5" he gave many drunken stupid tough ass soldiers something to remember for the rest of their lives. He kicked their ass and many times more than one at a time. Some of those "crazy" combat Viet Nam vets would kill JT for a remark like that!

It wasn't always like that JT. At least those who volunteered up till the first year or so after 9/11, many thought they were actually signing up to defend this country.

Nowadays you'd have to be pretty brainwashed and living in total ignorance to believe that's why we are fighting over there. So those who enlist today are possibly as you say. Those who enlisted or were commissioned prior to 2005, are not the same as those signing up after roughly that year, when it should have been clear to anyone paying attention that we were fighting people who never did anything to us.

Today however, it's practically impossible NOT to know that we are certainly NOT "defending America" over there in the Middle East or North Africa these days.

I think most "crazy" Viet Nam combat vets have mellowed out over time. Nowadays he might just get a good ass whooping from an angry ole white haired guy. :)

Most have but not all. It depends on how many donuts JT ingested.

I agree. Few think this way, but then again, few think. The troops have mind's of their own, they are not little puppets willingly giving up their freedom to kill people who never did anything to them. They have to think everything through before joining, and yet they still join. I know recruiters lie to them, church members lie to them, and the news media lies to them, but it is their life on the line and they would be crazy to not investigate if it truly is a virtuous pursuit to join the military today.

God is always good!

If they did then they would confirm everything JT posted as true. You don't have to join the military to know those that do these days are scum of the Earth or severely mentally impaired.

Also you know little about those "crazy" Viet Nam vets. Most hate what they did in that war with a passion and are "crazy" because of it.

God is always good!
