I've been listening to Brian Dorgan and Mary Landrieu speaking on the floor of the senate about the supposed 75 qualified American-Louisanan electricians who were replaced with illegal aliens.

This Ladies and Gentlemen... is a classic Hegelian Dialectic. Issue: qualified American workers replaced with 'unqualified, undocumented aliens' . Dorgan and Landrieu had no problem with the fact that illegal aliens were in the country, their problem was that the 'certified, qualified' Americans were pushed out of jobs that they need and want.

Solution: America's Job Bank. Certifications on file with the workforce development department. American's hired first.

Tom Tancredo included provision for America's Job Bank in his legislation H.R. 3333. It is also included in the McCain-Kennedy and Cornyn-Kyl bill.

This system - America's job bank will be integrated with the Workforce Development system and the Education system (school and other records) which are already integrated. Tancredo's piece - "America's Job Bank" is the interlocking piece that will give control of supply and demand - including the price of labor - via the supply to the Secretary of Labor. This system will contain all information about American 'human resources' including their 'certifications' issued by the schools, work history including employer ratings and comments and other personal information. Employers will have direct access to the records.

This system will be the control system to make the American people slaves of the state by controlling their ability to obtain employment. It might not effect you personally, but it will certainly effect your children and grandchildren. They will no longer be free American citizens. They will be subjects of the state.

Don't be fooled. Call your Senators and House members today and tell them the game is over. We are on to their deceptions. Tell them NO on America's Job bank.... and for the sake of your children and grandchildren, get involved with school 'reform' because it is a trojan horse.

Maybe he just doesn't understand the implications of this and someone needs to point it out to him?

Obviously the real solution here is to get rid of the illegals. But that might....hurt someone's feelings and would require "action".

Tancredo is anti illegal immigration, and that's the only good thing I can about him. I was watching him on C-Span a couple years ago and it was obvious his is a big fan of the War on Iraqis.

He sure is. I talked to his Aide who worked on the bill. They are promoting it on the basis of all the 'protecting the borders' crapola. Obviously, we already have all the laws we need on the books to 'protect the borders'. They could write 500 bills... but if the administration won't enforce the laws, it's meaningless.

The sections below are from the legislation on Thomas.

To enhance border enforcement, improve homeland security, remove incentives for illegal immigration, and establish a guest worker program.

(a) Short Title- This Act may be cited as the `Rewarding Employers that Abide by the Law and Guaranteeing Uniform Enforcement to Stop Terrorism Act of 2005' or the `REAL GUEST Act of 2005'.

SEC. 102. INTERNET-BASED JOB POSTING SYSTEM

(a) In General- The Secretary of Labor shall take any steps necessary to ensure that all State employment agencies and all employers in the United States are able to acquire secure, password-protected access to the Internet-based job database provided jointly by the Department of Labor and State employment security agencies and known as `America's Job Bank' in order to permit the posting of job openings throughout the United States

(2) CESSATION- If compensation, including real wages, benefits, and working conditions, in a particular occupational category in a geographic region has been stagnant or in decline for the 6-month period immediately preceding the filing of a petition for an H nonimmigrant worker, the Secretary shall not approve the petition until--

(A) compensation in that occupational category and geographic region has increased each month for at least 6 months by an amount to be determined by the Secretary; and

(B) the Secretary has reassessed the prevailing wage for that occupational category and geographic region to ensure that it reflects the rising real wage levels.

SEC. 103. REQUIREMENTS FOR PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYERS OF H NON-IMMIGRANTS

(c) Announcement Contents- Each job announcement posted pursuant to this section shall list, at a minimum, the following:

(1) The name, contact information, and description of the employer

(2) A description of the job and the minimum skills necessary to perform it.

(3) A description of any additional knowledge, skills, or abilities that are preferred by the employer

De facto, ALL employers will have to list their jobs on the job bank so that the Secretary of Labor can determine what jobs are available, what they are paying and how many Americans are looking for work in that category if even a single employer has a request for a foreigner to fill a job in that category.

This is the means by which they will seize control of our economy and our citizens for forced participation in the ‘Human Resources Management’ - America’s job bank system and future generations of Americans will no longer be free people.

I was disappointed too - but I'm holding out hope that he was misled about this provision in the bill. I know that his aide doesn't understand the implications because I spent an hour trying to explain it to him.

Having said that though, I agree totally..... they all suck.
