There is ZERO evidence that petroleum can be created from sea sediment or plant life. There is MUCH evidence that it is a product of methane. Years ago, they also thought the world was flat, and that the sun was a ball of fire which spun around the Earth. They had no understanding of nuclear fusion, and even now, the dynamics of solar burning is for the most part unknown. meanwhile, you seem to be a sucker for every dismal goddamned fairytale that's come down the pike... chemtrials, UFOs, lord knows what. Sorry charlie, but the production in Texas rose each year up till the 70's. It may not "replenish" as fast as it is drawn either, but that doesn't mean that oil comes from ancient critters. It also does not prove GLOBAL peak oil has occured.

You would be hard pressed to find a scientific explanation for what you claim, one which describes the process empirically, rather than by assumption. That oil can be made from a raw organic gas empirically proves that it CAN and DOES happen. That you refuse to understand that is your problem, not mine.
