Released in 1998, it's pre-9/11, and dang if this wasn't prophetic. If you haven't seen it since it came out, I recommend it it again. If you haven't seen it at all, then you're a doofus.

I saw it when it came out and was already well aware of things when it did. but this flick was pre-911, pre-"patriot" act, and pre-Bush spying on everyone. To see it again with all that new history was intriguing.
A person who is an enemy of the state has always been the target of a Jason Bourne type person, when the stakes are high. Look at that poor reporter from the San Jose Mercury Times, or that guy who was tracking down the Octopus...
it's part of the hollycon propaganda/early warning system. btw i watch EoTS often/quarterly. along with The Patriot & V. i don't watch rotchild-fake world war movies anymore.
