That surely looks much like my office. Lots of stuff but there is a place for everything. In my little office, I have many boxes but I know where everything is and try to keep things in a box and my desk, monitor, and keyboards are dusted down frequently. I do my own cleaning. I cannot function in a messy disordered environment. I appreciate neatness almost to a fault. :)
Busy desk, busy mind. Empty desk, empty... You have to be sharper to deal with it all. It's worked for 40+ years, I learned it from my father; there's little, or no, hope of changing. More goodies for my heirs to treasure or trash - I won't care by then.

You keep your little corner looking like that so you can throw down receipts from gun purchases in plain sight without Mrs. L being the wiser. :p
