Pat Robertson: Christians should not join ‘Occupy Wall Street’ By Eric W. Dolan Thursday, October 27, 2011 Print 72

patrobertson-screen Topics: barack obama ×0; street demonstrations ×0; televangelist pat robertson

Televangelist Pat Robertson said Thursday on The 700 Club that Christians should not be involved in the “Occupy Wall Street” demonstrations in cities around the nation.

His comment was picked up by the liberal watchdog website RightWingWatch.org.

“I think this is a rebellion,” he said. “I think it is atavistic. Nobody knows exactly what it is, they don’t know what they’re doing, why are they there? Well they’re just mad. Well, is it right for a Christian to get involved in a protest of anger?”

“If you’re going to demonstrate demonstrate for righteousness, demonstrate to lift the yoke of oppression, demonstrate to help those that are poverty stricken. But don’t just go out and mess up a park and just scream and tear up things. Why would you get involved in something like that? It’s formless, it has no purpose, but it could be used for radicals who want to destroy this nation, and that’s the bad part of it.”

Robertson previously blamed President Barack Obama for being the mastermind behind Occupy Wall Street and has also called the protesters “clowns” and “nuts.”

Raymond S It's also not Christian to own a Diamond mine that uses slaves and is run by a warlord who rapes and murders but that didn't stop Pat.

Robertson had extensive business dealings with Liberian president Charles Taylor. According to the article, Taylor gave Robertson the rights to mine for diamonds in Liberia's mineral-rich countryside. According to two Operation Blessing pilots who reported this incident to the state of Virginia for investigation in 1994, Robertson used his Operation Blessing planes to haul diamond-mining equipment to Robertson's mines in Liberia, despite the fact that Robertson was telling his 700 Club viewers that the planes were sending relief supplies to the victims of the genocide in Rwanda. In response to Taylor's alleged crimes against humanity, the United States Congress passed a bill In November 2003 that offered two million dollars for his capture. Robertson accused President George W. Bush of "undermining a Christian, Baptist president to bring in Muslim rebels to take over the country." At the time Taylor was harboring Al Qaeda operatives who were funding their operations through the illegal diamond trade.[24] On February 4, 2010, at his war crimes trial in the Hague, Taylor testified that Robertson was his main political ally in the U.S., and that he had volunteered to make Liberia's case before U.S. administration officials in exchange for concessions to Robertson's Freedom Gold, Ltd., to which Taylor gave a contract to mine gold in southeast Liberia.[25] In 2010, a spokesman for Robertson said that the company's arrangements — in which the Liberian government got a 10 percent equity interest in the company and Liberians could purchase at least 15 percent of the shares after the exploration period — were similar to many American companies doing business in Africa at the time.[26]

The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one.

Watch me now (as stated by James brown):

Pat Robertson is wayyy over the top when it comes to serving his master. He sold his soul long ago.

Others, and they are legion, have adopted the 501C3 status mandated by the FEDERAL (reserve bank) GOVT. These have decided that they must conform to satan's agenda or at a minimum keep their mouths shut, in order to keep God's money. (Not that God needs it).

They are not alone in their misgivings. Their congregations comply with this fraud/theft by using the tax exemption that actually turns their tithe into NOTHING tithed.

He's a huge proponent of No Child Left Alive in the effort to clear out Jerusalem, even if it means killing millions, so that his version of Jesus can have an earthly throne to sit on when he comes

Psycotically sick. Yet revered by millions.

That describes their 'god' perfectly.

Small wonder that 'his' representatives get the same treatment.

I still haven't figured out why that is. I probably never will.

Somebody ought to tell the truth about the Bible. The preachers dare not, because they would be driven from their pulpits. Professors in colleges dare not, because they would lose their salaries. Politicians dare not. They would be defeated. Editors dare not. They would lose subscribers. Merchants dare not, because they might lose customers. Men of fashion dare not, fearing that they would lose caste. Even clerks dare not, because they might be discharged. And so I thought I would do it myself... Robert Ingersoll

Pat Robertson is not a Christian.

Pagan worship primarily concerns propitiation. In other words, they are religions based on pure fear rather than repentance, contract, or submission -- Vox Day

Pat Robertson is not a Christian.

Ok he's not.

Yet he does appear to have millions who call themselves Christians to whom he is a leader of what they believe Christianity is.

So he is a Christian in the world of millions.

I feel my father, for x, would have no trouble of testifying that Pat is a Great Christian.
