The Guardian reports Olsen "responded with a very large smile" when his parents arrived from Wisconsin to visit him at the hospital. Medical officials say Olsen's able to write and hear, but is having trouble speaking. Meanwhile, Oakland's Mayor Jean Quan who left town after authorizing the raid, has separated herself from the police. Quan said, "I only asked the chief to do one thing: to do it when it was the safest for both the police and the demonstrators." Her interim police chief then denied his men had used rubber bullets or flashbang grenades. His goal he said, "... isn't to cause injury to anyone." In response to the police tactics, OccupyMARINES has issued a formal list of requests in Oakland. Whether these requests are pursued or met should be an indicator of how strong or extensive this branch of the movement has become. Tom, please start attributing the author in stories you post when an author is credited (otherwise, staff/etc. will suffice). You have the habit of just pasting the article link in the spot for "Author". There are two authors listed at the top of the story link. Thank you in advance. P.S. I might ask, what positive actions/experiences came out of Woodstock, in the 60s??? I wouldn't suggest that these protests are spontaneous and would admit that there are those that would like to co-opt them for their own purposes ... on all sides of the political spectrum. It turns out that OccupyMarines calls itself OccupyOMC and consists, it says, of retired Marines, not current corps members. For that reason, its website says they will not be wearing their Marine uniforms. I give odds that some who claim to be with them were never in the Corps. In any case, it's a big question mark how many members they actually have (judging from their website, nobody who knows proofreading or writing style), and a bigger question mark how they think they can make Demands.

I expect the City of Oakland to stonewall on the identification of the Pig who did this. What I suspect, but cannot prove, is that he was not Oakland PD but a specially trained Fed who had been slipped in to provoke an "incident". The attack on the Marine was, I believe, a premeditated attempt to create a riot and it backfired. What occurred was black clad Pigs advancing on otherwise peaceful demonstrators inflicted the maximum amount of pain possible - in one instance Pepper Spraying a young father holding his toddler daughter and simply trying to get out of the vicinity and the Pig Pepper Sprayed them both in the face as they tried to flea the scene. Phant, I think you're speaking of Glenn Beck's version of the Tea Party (although I readily admit the Tea Partiers are a tidy bunch). I also attended Tea Party events but quit when I determined that they had been co-opted by neo- con types like Glenn Beck that soon convinced them to attend the (not a protest) "meeting" sign-free. Though he drew a huge crowd they were more difficult to understand than the current protesters that are at least carrying signs which give those with a little more information the opportunity to educate them as well as propagandize them I suppose. The original Tea Partiers left refuse in the bay where they dumped the tea. They weren't trying to be nice and considering modern conditions in this country we shouldn't feel obligated to an abundance of civility either. The original Tea Partiers were delivering a message unlike Glenn's Tea Partiers. Our country is in a difficult time and things are likely to get messy. Neither the neo-con Tea partiers nor the marxist Occupy Wall Streeters hold a majority position within either movement. These two groups are more closely aligned in ideology than they may realize at this stage of events. Thanks for the data. At this point I am watching the situation and still sifting. There are too many variables and there is more here than meets the eye. I expect that there will be a lot of planted disinformation, but sifting out what is fact and what is planted requires more data so that I can make comparisons against data of comparable magnitude. I still lean toward the hypothesis that the initial "Occupy Wall Street" was a set up PsyOp, but that the controlling Psychs running the operation did not expect it to explode in quite the way it did and it has unnerved their masters. They failed to take into account "The Butterfly Effect" i.e., that in a chaotic nonlinear system which has gone out of equilibrium, or been forced out of equilibrium, it will react in unpredictable ways. Another element still developing is the response of veterans to the brutal attempted murder of Scott Olsen. OWS is NOT a homogeneous mix of different shades of left - which I think was the original intent. Instead we have a spectrum of anarchist left to libertarian right and focus is slowly shifting from simply the lure i.e., Wall Street, to the real nexus which is the central banksters. The self-appointed elite vermin seem to have no problem now fomenting chaos just to see what opportunities will occur to their advantage. This indicates a desperation, a fear that has them planning poorly. Perhaps they are coming to the realization they really have nowhere to hide. Perhaps they are feeling cornered.
I think you are on to something there. Although as Psychotics one of their weaknesses is that they cannot, literally, conceive of being wrong - even when they are deadly wrong. It goes with the psychotic territory. However, I think that it is beginning to sink in that "all is not well in Toonerville". As a result they have tried, either through fear or hubris or both, to speed up their enslavement regimen, and as I predicted about 5 years ago that doing so would be their undoing. They, the psychotic Bankster/Psych elite, sought to impose their will and their grip on all of humanity, but the basic weakness is that they could only do it by remaining covert and hidden. They are no longer quite as well hidden, thanks no small part to the Internet and lots of brave people speaking the truth, and with their cover gone they are increasingly exposed. I'm sorry, but calling it "the Jooooos" is simplistic. Yes, many of the high level Psychopaths are of Jewish descent, but not all. The problem is not a people it is a diseased mindset which has been infused and conflated with Judaism. The religion, and the people involved are separable. Enforced exclusion actually exacerbates the problem - that is why the Jewish leadership promotes Zionist/Jewish exclusivity and separation - because they perceive that to be the source of their power. By keeping separate and isolated they enhance their control and it provides a wall of defense for the high level criminals. That is why you see the Jewish leadership so concerned and preaching against assimilation. Jews that assimilate into the common culture develop affinity for that culture and as a result are less prone to the types of crimes justified by "anti-semitism". That is why Theodore Hertzl wrote in his diaries that he regarded anti-semites as allies and wanted to inflame anti-semitism as a control tool. To allow one's self to bite on the lure to hate is to disempower one's self. What should be handled is the criminality and it should be done free of hate. It should be done because that is what protects others. Membership in a given cultural group should neither confer prejudice nor protection. Perhaps I should point out to those still doubting we have the freedom to organize and protest that the "Occupy" protestors were able to gather and make themselves known without permits, which is directly opposite of that required by the Tea Party organizers. The Tea Party attendants also carried a like message and didn't leave their crap for others to clean up, quite contrary to what we are seeing today.

There should be gathering around the idea of soliciting a much higher reward to ensure he is brought to justice under the jurisdiction of the (ICC) International Criminal Court. I expect the City of Oakland to stonewall on the identification of the Pig who did this. What I suspect, but cannot prove, is that he was not Oakland PD but a specially trained Fed who had been slipped in to provoke an "incident". What it appears to be from the circumstances and actions is the attempt to throw a "lit match" onto a pool of gasoline. The attack on the Marine was, I believe, a premeditated attempt to create a riot and it backfired.
