How about the perennial question: “Why are we here?” When we choose to be ignorant and obtuse in a childish rebellion against our own being, we answer: “For no reason! We are just accidentally having experiences in a ‘random’ universe.” That answer pretends to let us off the hook, to relieve us of any duty to take responsibility for the course of our experience. When we finally grow tired of playing hide and seek from ourselves, we start answering: “I don’t know!” That is a good place to start: knowing there is something which we don’t know makes room for a fresh experience, at the very least. “It ain't what you don't know that gets you into trouble. It's what you know for sure that just ain't so.” - Mark Twain (Josh Billings, Will Rogers) Since all of us in these united states (serfs of the corporation UNITED STATES) have been lied to from birth, propagandized using the most sophisticated methods and the most advanced deployment of technologies for social control ever seen on this planet, we have a s#!+load of bullshit occupying our minds, which we rarely question and in our worst moments, insist that we know for sure! We start by mental and emotional housecleaning. Ever try to catch a baseball with dirt in your eyes? Ever try to feel good about yourself when you are in pain? Clear the mechanism and create a new story for yourself instead of merely revising history or herstory. After the explosive flowering of art, technology and rising consciousness which occurred during the 19th century, most dramatically in the u.s., the lords of this playpen realized that they would have to outdo themselves in order stay on top of the game, attempting to retard the inevitable unfolding of the potential of the human spirit. On the surface and especially since the surface of things is a mediated, man-made surface (the media_Matrix), the agenda seems successful in the 20th and 21st centuries. The critical tactic of distracting awareness from discovering its source survival by making “necessity” the focus of our daily lives in order to survive has had its intended effect. If force was not applied, the rising understanding (social and technological) along with the mutual benefits of cooperation of a natural economy in the land of milk and honey, the natural accumulation of “enough” would have allowed room for understanding to grow. To destroy this experiment in increased freedom and to render any distinctive patterns unrecognizable has required a long-term, consolidated effort by the puppeteers. To keep people asleep, unconscious of their innate powers, has required a long list of interlocking tactics of hideous strategies, of which most here are well aware. “Why are we here?” To serve as the craftsmen of our own prisons? To be the diggers of our own graves when our utility as slaves is exhausted? To be actors automatically entertaining the terminally corrupt with the stories of our lives for their amusement, stories which seem to confirm that the choices of the defiantly corrupt are the only sensible choices to make? Dog eat dog, run with the biggest, baddest pack or die, seek worldly power or lose power over your own life, exploit others or be exploited, etc, etc, we have been drilled since birth with these simple-minded choices. Simple binary choices: yes or no, all or nothing, black or white, pleasure or pain. Simple minded at the level of mere mechanical computers, having only two digits to count on: 0 or 1 This level of “thinking” is all the primitive brain (reptilian or limbic) can handle when in crisis: fight or flight, kill or be killed. The trick is to keep your slaves in that mindset, 24X7 Otherwise, people using higher powers of mind might have the space to pierce the illusion and see behind the curtain, penetrate deep enough into their living being with the light of the mind and discover their source, or at least the right direction in which to search. So, in a classic pincer movement, the material functioning of our economy has been deliberately degraded and on the other front our perceptions have been blitzkrieg-ed by a pernicious culture of willful ignorance, solidified in the form of the media_as_Matrix. We are entertained, hooked by the spectacle presented to us, and taught to misuse our minds by forming snap judgments, deciding who is bad or good, who is us or them, who is right and who is wrong, as we dance automatically as our strings are pulled. How many here indulge in stroking their egos by judging that they are awake (and smart) and the rest of humanity are sheeple (and stupid)? More importantly, how many profess to be awake yet fall right in line with the goals of the fearmonger pulling the strings? The few who point out that consciousness, conscious awareness is the true author of all that we see and experience and is the true shaper of our destiny have graduated from the trance and have found hope which is impervious to manipulation by external forces. “Why are we here?” If you are studying something trying to discover its pattern and its meaning, would you stand outside of the phenomenon and observe, however systematically? Or, if you had the power, would you find a way into it, to experience it from the inside? Observe without interfering, following the “Prime Directive” not to interfere with the natural turn of events? (Star Trek) Or would you jump in and immerse your being in the flow of events and find out both how it works and how it feels? Your answer to the above reveals your approach to life: Remain in a state of aloof abstraction, observing your life by processing through layers upon layers of symbols, words upon words, most of which have never been understood through personal creative effort? Using stale concepts trampled on by the culture’s imperial army of control to decide how to play with your precious time? Accepting the vast majority of your information second, third or fourth hand, mediated by mindless bureaucracies and hierarchies (governments, corporations, churches, schools, prisons, gangs, clubs and cliques) entranced by the electronic fire displaying phantoms of life designed to depress you, to rob you of genuine emotion and real understanding? There are advantages to this choice which are psychological, about the mind’s process but not about life. We may adopt with little effort massive denial strategies which have been crafted by others. We may avoid the need to be eternally vigilant by conforming to a cult which promises us sure gratifications, even if they are ultimately empty and we are hungry an hour later. We may buy a sense that we belong to something, to somewhere to blunt our feeling of isolation from our source, even if finally that too is but a superficial Band-Aid over our deeper sense of separation from our source of being. We still feel separated because our mind’s eye is pointed in the wrong direction and we look for love in all the wrong places. Well, what is the alternative? If we are willing to start from scratch, to start from a clean page, to banish all limiting assumptions, to create something new for ourselves, we can reason from first principles and even play with those first principles. (which is what the philosophy of metaphysics has formalized) Start with a clear foundation and see where we can go with it, knowing that as long as we remain true to our principles, we can discover something valid and true, even if we must refine this truth by repeated experiments using our experience to alter our first principles. This is also the only firm basis of the scientific method: propose a conceptual model of What Is, create a test of the model against experience in the flow, detect the differences between our model and What Is and refine our model. Rinse and Repeat as necessary. This is the empirical method and can be applied effectively to so-called objective laws of the physical plane as well as to the so-called subjective laws of higher planes. The tricky part is, that What Is or the Real is not a mechanism unaffected by our presence, codified in pop science as the Heisenberg Uncertainty principle but known much longer than that in human experience. Instead of this aspect preventing or blocking the process of understanding, it can be inverted and understood to mean that our living ongoing input to the world can actually be the determining factor! 1. Consciousness is the primary creative force in all universes 2. What Consciousness would do with Self would be some form of intricate, open-ended dance of creating and unfolding 3. To make the dance interesting, create an Other self with some deliberately unknown mysterious aspects and then create many, many selves complete with the same exact mixture of Self and Other 4. To provide a safety net for a free will experiment, give the gift of mortality, so that pain was not eternal but limited by time, to all those many created selves 5. We, the created selves, have some form of consciousness 6. We can change or grow that consciousness 7. We can eventually understand consciousness and how to use it in a balanced manner 8. We can join in the dance of Self and Other once we learn how to dance 9. We dance forever When a galactic observer leaves his Tricorder behind, the resultant change to the flow of that (hypothetical) star nation defies prediction. When we begin to see our impact on the flow of our experience, we begin to understand that we have been limiting our impact, by our own internalized “things that just ain’t so”. The main result? ANY excuse, any denial of our power, any lazy perceptions such as: “things never change”, “you can’t fight city hall”, “life is meaningless”, and the now very timely “The powers that be have the game under their control” are seen as false. The experiment was rigged and ruined by the fact that we had both hands tied behind our backs! How to grapple with life? Must have a vehicle, a body totally immersed in the physical laws, but who is driving the vehicle? But are we being driven solely by automatic systems or can we direct the flow by our will applied with intelligence? Would you settle for “cyber-sex” of sex in virtual reality, or sex with an android sex slave? Is that any fun for anyone other than an adolescent with hormonal excess? Hopefully, you prefer to discover the unknown, to shine the light of consciousness into the mystery of being, both your own and your partner’s, using the much deeper immersion possible in direct contact, playing on the same plane together. “Why are we here?” We are here to discover the mystery of the created Universe, to boldly play in defined game we call physical reality, to blow through its limits and laws with a never ending power surge of Spirit. The force behind all forces is the Will of the Universe (and all the others) to appreciate its own creation and the ecstatic process of creativity solidified and slowed down enough to be known and loved before it changes in eternal response. We are here to blow this local pop stand, but only after realizing its infinite beauty extends timelessly in all directions. We are here as the ultimate sensors for the One, inspecting creation not for flaws in its laws but for the flaws we create from limited understanding. We are here to dance with the flow, in an ecstatic mutual embrace of the creative structure of the game and our creative response, which inevitably changes that very structure! We are here to wake up from the nightmare that we are alone in a cold heartless place, that all the other active universal sensors around us are separate from us and there is no possibility of a sustainable ecstatic union. We are here to realize, to know in the deepest possible way, that there is an eternal mystery at work, where all creation has one ultimate source but allows infinitely many new perceptions of that source in process. Like the astounding simplicity of the equation used to generate the fractal Mandelbrot set through endless iteration, resulting in truly infinite levels, the Universe creates infinite variety from One source. Now the divine comedy can be glimpsed in the last desperate efforts to keep people sleeping in their chains. The lack of imagination by the corrupted ones now on display shows that they just don’t get it! The psychopaths trying to control this kindergarten are not wise or smart at all but spiritual morons, unable to see the futility in trying to stop the tsunami of rising consciousness with ANY man-made structure. Methods and execution used by the psychopaths which may seem clever at first evaporate to comical slapstick when it becomes clear that they are simply misusing what little edge of self-knowledge they possessed. A little knowledge can be dangerous, a little power is destructive when not balanced by the feedback of true feeling or emotional radar. Feeling superior because you found a few keys to your own power through the occult traditions of the elders and have used them to exploit others having slightly fewer keys is comical in the end. Retarding your true development so that you can use your power in adolescent obsession is absolutely retarded in view of where true development can lead and the comedy is that you are only hurting yourself while your intention is to hurt others. Tell-tale giveaway to the terminal psychological corruption known as psychopathy: For psychopaths, “fun” feelings can only be had by causing and/or vampiring other people’s pain! These “feelings” are nothing more than a cold appeal to the ego’s sense of being special and loved by being on the other side of pain, not the ones getting hurt! Thoughts like “I am special because I am safe and free while others are not because I am smarter” are virtual feelings, not true feelings coming from the body sensor but being generated in the mind in the form of lowered mental stress or dissonance among competing mental programs which are running automatically, out of control. It is high time to start enjoying the black comedy, before it evaporates in the full light of day. For those of us not psychopaths, at first we feel the pain of the victims (and our own) in sympathy when we hear of the latest outrage. But, upon reflection and using the perspective of the inner vision we have mastered, we see the cosmic humor in it from a higher perspective and LET THE PAIN GO in a liberating release! If insanity is mindless repetition accompanied by the expectation of different results, then the ongoing efforts by the darkened ones to prevent THEIR OWN AWAKENING by keeping the rest of humanity entranced in nightmare is one hilarious depiction of insanity! We start by mental and emotional housecleaning. Most people are totally incapable of doing that, to any degree whatsoever. Even so-called "truth seekers" aren't really truth seekers. "Free thinkers" aren't free thinkers. They identify with these labels, but they don't follow through. They are too heavily invested in their pet beliefs. To admit they are wrong, when shown positive proof that this is so, would be too painful for them. For them to say that they are starting over with a blank slate is unthinkable. People are basically cowards, afraid of their own shadow.

I don't agree with anyone; in fact, I attempt to argue the diametrical point of anyone's posts or positions if I feel they submit a perspective that is filled with hypocrisy; it gets me in trouble, too.
