(s)Elections See other (s)Elections Articles Title: Jim Robinson: A word about Romney RINO. Three words: liberal progressive RINO. Add a fourth, fifth, sixth, etc: unprincipled, untrustworthy, flip-flopper, aisle-crossing, fraud, liar, political whore. And a few more: abortionist, gay rights panderer, gun-grabber, global warming advocate, big government mandate lover, socialist healthcare pusher, constitution trampling, liberal judge appointing, TARP loving, bailout loving, stimulus pushing Keynesian statist. That my friends, is no definition of conservative or of conservatism. Not even close. In fact it's the exact opposite. Free Republic is and will remain an exclusive pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-constitution, pro-small government, pro-capitalism, pro-defense, pro-borders, grassroots patriotic conservative site, regardless of party politics. I support the Republican party as long as it promotes positions and candidates that I can agree with. The current party platform is a pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-constitution, pro-small government, pro-capitalism, pro-defense, pro-borders, patriotic, traditional conservative platform. When they formally (or informally) start knocking out or ignoring traditional conservative foundational planks so they can run liberal progressive RINOS then they have lost me. It won't be that I've left the Republican party, the Republican party will have left me. Some people say FR is a cult. Well, I don't know about that, but I'll be damned if we're going to change our core principles and values so that we can support a man who has spent a political lifetime trying to run to the left of Ted Kennedy. Every one of his leftist positions listed above are documented on the video linked below, which is a compilation of about a dozen debates and other Romney appearances where he vehemently advocates and defends his leftist positions and ideals: Romney in his on words Watch it all the way through. If he becomes the Republican nominee, I can guarantee you you will see these clips and more like them, over and over again on national TV. Romney is totally untrustworthy. And it's all documented in living color. Yeah, I know. He's changed. He's now a life-long hunter who's always been pro-life, pro-family, pro-gun, pro-small government. And "most of his positions, all of them actually, have always been conservative." Just ask him. And that's the point. He's changed his mind, or at least, he's changed his political platform. And he'll change his mind again tomorrow. He'll continue changing his mind to match the current political winds. That's what unprincipled, untrustworthy, lying political whores do. It's in the nature of the beast. Poster Comment: uh huh. That is what he is saying now. Anyone remember what he used to say about Dumbya BEFORE Dumbya got the nomination of the R half of the Party? Here is a part of what he said. "A Bush presidency will be very dangerous for America." "Military background? Yeah, right...I think Forbes would be a better choice than Bush." "Bush II is simply another term for Bush I. No thanks. Been there, done that." "...there aint no way you'll ever convince me that Bush is even one/tenth the statesman or conservative that Reagan was. There is NO comparison." "Bush scares the bejeebies outta me. Looks like his father got us into this mess and Clinton stepped it up. Now Bush II comes in to finish the job. Guess we'll all be speaking Chinese soon, or not at all." "Bush II is simply a continuation of the failed Bush I." And after that the disingenuous cs banned anyone who spoke a discouraging word about Bush the Younger and Dumber. Anyone know who Robinson is for? If not Cain, Romney or Paul, then who is he supporting? No one else has a chance and Cain will soon be out of the race. This will come down to Romney vs Paul. Paul can beat Romney, but he must work on his speeches. Romney is very polished with his speeches and comes across to the uniformed as someone that knows what he is talking about and can get the job done. If Paul can improve his delivery then he will win cause he definitely has the more logical message.
I have no idea who Robinson is supporting. He will support Romney if he gets the R nomination despite what he is saying--evidence of that is his support of Bush after the way he talked about him before he got the nomination.
That's a no brainer. Mr. Robbersome gets on line from time to time and espouses support for whomever the majority of his donors to his freal-a-thon are supporting regardless of what that candidate stands for or what party he is running in. That keeps the cash flowing. If the donors supported Charlie Manson, he would be Jim Robbersome's guy.
You mean, that, Rim Jobinson, is so crassly mercenary as to contort and twist in the direction of the money? Why I'm shocked. Shocked. Do you hear me? Shocked. NOT!
