The relationship between morality and liberty is a directly proportional one. None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free. I think the visibility in one would be good--did you not see that big cockpit window? But they are toys for the rich. I checked and they START at 65 grand.

The cure for that is for everyone to get together before they launch and decide where they are going to be and when. Or make sure they pick out a "lane" to run in and pretty much stay there. At least that's what I think. And they sure do look like a LOT of fun.

Guess the answer to that would be to choose your friends carefully, at least those you're trusting with your life.

I think they are nice toys for rich people but for what just one of those cost, even the cheapest one, you could buy two new, fully equipped Ford Fusions or Hyundai Sonatas (for example) and still have plenty of money for gas. You could even buy two Infiniti G37's for that (at the starting price of 32,400).

Had a little Chevy S-10 one time before they changed General Motors to Government Motors. Called it Little Red and as far as four wheels it was probably my favorite out of all we ever owned. I like pickups too.

Cheaper and probably safer. As for these dolphin boats, I dunno. I'm sure they'd be fun at first but they are closed cockpit so it would get a bit stuffy inside after a few mins. There's probably some snorkling thing built in but still.... And since your strapped in.... I think I'd get bored with it somewhat before I'd get 65K worth of fun out of it. The lack of visibility if you dive at all is probably a party killer. Especially since every time you do it you wonder if you're about to plow into something.

I got to fly a tail dragger last weekend and discovered how scary a ground loop is. I was lucky though, there was no serious damage except to my pride and nerves. ;-) oooooohhh.. I know what that is, but thankfully only on paper. What kind of plane? Except for a quick ride in a Piper Cub, I've only real dealt with tricycles.
It was an old Cessna 140 with metal skin. We used to own one back in Connecticut and I'm glad the co-owner who rented it to me to 'plink aroung the pea patch' with locally wasn't with me. ;-) Next week I plan on spending time doing touch and goes with it to either knock the rust off my skill with that configuration. I won't if there is another cross wind going at that field though. Here is a picture that looks almost exactly like Little Red--I don't normally say that I "love" inanimate objects but I did like that truck a lot. Liberty is not a means to a higher political end. There is a snorkel built in for the engine and it won't run deeper than about five feet. The part that looks like a lot of fun to me is the barrel roll you can do with it and then jumping out of the water like a whale, shark or dolphin.
