When the freedom of speech of one group is being threatened, it is a threat to all of us. Just because you may not be a Christian, don't think that what you are about to read is not a problem for you as well. The truth is that any individual or group that does not "fit in" with the new "politically-correct" global system that is emerging is going to be persecuted sooner or later. In our society today, it has become quite fashionable to bash Christians. In fact, I am quite certain that some of the comments that get left after this article will say really horrible things about Christians. But after "Big Brother" is done with the Christians, are you sure that they will not come after you next? When I speak of "Big Brother", I am not just speaking of the government. In today's world, giant corporations and the mainstream media also play instrumental roles in the totalitarian police state prison grid that is being constructed all around us. The elite control the government, they run nearly all of the major corporations and they own most of the major media outlets. Anyone that does not "conform" to their system is a threat. As time goes by, the persecution of those that attempt to "rebel" against their system is only going to become more intense.

So if you are not a Christian, do not applaud when the system cracks down on Bible-believing Christians.

You never know, you might be next.

The following are 18 examples of how Christians are being specifically targeted by "Big Brother"....

#1 Home Bible studies are now banned in the city of San Juan Capistrano, California. According to city officials, regular gatherings "of more than three people" in private homes are simply not allowed. One couple that has held home Bible studies for years has already been fined twice and is being threatened with even more fines.

#2 Paypal has initiated "formal investigations" of a large number of Christian websites and organizations. Apparently, many of these investigations have been launched due to concerns that these websites and organizations do not hold to a "politically-correct" view of sexuality.

According to WorldNetDaily, Paypal has targeted include Americans For Truth, Last Days Watchman and a host of other Christian organizations including "Abiding Truth Ministries, New Generation Ministries, Noua Dreapta of Romania, Truth in Action Ministries, Dove World Outreach, Faith Word Baptist Church, Family Research Institute and American Society for the Defense of Traditional Family".

#3 In Wichita, Kansas last year, a Christian minister was handcuffed and hauled off to jail by police for sharing the gospel and handing out tracts to Muslims on a public sidewalk. Apparently freedom of speech does not apply on the public sidewalks of America any longer.

#4 In the UK, police recently threatened a cafe owner with arrest for silently playing a Bible DVD on a small television on the back wall of his cafe. The following is an excerpt from a Daily Mail article about this incident....

Mr Murray, 31, was left shocked after he was questioned for nearly an hour by the officers, who arrived unannounced at the premises.

He said he had turned off the Bible DVD after an ‘aggressive inquisition’ during which he thought he was going to be arrested and ‘frog-marched out of the cafe like a criminal’.

#5 Last year, a high school student in Southern California was suspended for two days because he had private conversations with his classmates during which he discussed Christianity. He was also banned from bringing his Bible to school ever again.

#6 Big cable networks regularly feature "comedians" that love to mock Christians. For example, HBO "comedian" Bill Maher recently stated that "there's a term for people who hate charity and love killing: Christian".

If that had been said about another minority group, it would have made front page headlines for weeks.

#7 Down in Texas, the Department of Veteran Affairs actually tried to ban prayers that include the words "God" or "Jesus" during funeral services for veterans.

#8 In North Carolina last year, a pastor was dismissed from his chaplain duties for praying in the name of Jesus.

#9 An unclassified Department of Homeland Security report published a couple years ago entitled "Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment" claims that a belief in Bible prophecy "could motivate extremist individuals and groups to stockpile food, ammunition and weapons." The report goes on to state that such people are potentially dangerous.

#10 Back on February 20, 2009, the State of Missouri issued a report entitled "MIAC Strategic Report: The Modern Militia Movement". That report warned that the following types of people may be potential terrorists....

*anti-abortion activists

*those that are against illegal immigration

*those that consider "the New World Order" to be a threat

*those that have a negative view of the United Nations

#11 All over the nation, "child protection agencies" are ripping an inordinate number of children out of Christian homes. In many of these cases the parents believe in homeschooling their children or they do not believe in having their children vaccinated.

#12 On June 18, 2010 two Christians decided that they would peacefully pass out copies of the gospel of John on a public sidewalk outside a public Islamic festival in Dearborn, Michigan and within three minutes 8 police officers surrounded them and placed them under arrest.

#13 A Christian consultant was recently fired by Bank of America and by Cisco because they discovered a book that he had written that expressed Christian viewpoints about social issues.

#14 A while back, a federal judge actually ruled that the University of California can deny course credit to applicants from Christian high schools that use textbooks that teach that it was God who created the earth.

#15 Back in 2009, one 8 year old boy in Massachusetts was sent home from school and was forced to undergo a psychological evaluation because he drew a picture of Jesus on the cross.

#16 The Obama administration has announced that there is a whole host of laws that it will not be enforcing, but one thing that the Obama administration has chosen to do is to aggressively pursue lawsuits against anti-abortion protesters.

#17 During a Congressional hearing earlier this year, U.S. Representative Sheila Jackson Lee warned that "Christian militants" might try to "bring down the country" and that such groups need to be investigated.

#18 According to a shocking FBI document obtained by Oath Keepers, the FBI definition of "suspicious activity" now includes making "extreme religious statements" and believing in "radical theology".

The good news is that there still is at least a limited amount of religious freedom in America. It may soon be gone, but at least we are in better shape than most of the globe.

Almost 70 percent of the population of the world now lives in countries where religious activities are highly restricted.

The sad truth is that the entire planet is moving away from freedom of religion.

That is a right that we are supposed to be guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution, but it should be obvious to everyone that our right to religious freedom is rapidly dying.

If you are not religious, don't think that you should not be fighting for religious freedom along with the rest of us.

Once they take some of our rights away, it will be much easier for them to take all the rest of our rights away.

United we stand, or divided we will fall.

I don't have dog in this fight, rob, but even a cursory search on key words from these items suggests that there is substance behind the allegations in these stories.

At a minimum, the private corporate actions and the acts of local and state officials profiled here are definite and dangerous encroachments on the First Amendment.

Whatever you, or anyone else, thinks about WND it is a fact that Christians are being persecuted. They always have been to some degree and at times in the past it was worse than it is now, at least here (but it will get worse here). The Lord himself told his followers that they hated him without cause.

John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before [it hated] you.

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

John 15:25 But [this cometh to pass], that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

The world hated the Lord because he was not of the world. The world hates his followers too and he said they would.

I could waste my time by refuting each point but I have better things to do then deal with delusional paranoids for the record this sickness has a name

The most common delusion in delusional disorder is that of persecution. While persons with paranoid personality might suspect their colleagues of joking at their expense, persons with delusional disorder may suspect others of participating in elaborate master plots to persecute them. They believe that they are being poisoned, drugged, spied upon, or are the targets of conspiracies to ruin their reputations or even to kill them.

Thank you.

They also have a habit of accusing others of the same things that christians themselves do to others, or things that they do themselves.

They believe they are being persecuted because the bible says that they will be persecuted. So they look long and hard to find this "persecution". If they can't find anything, they make it up.

But suppose that this persecution is real, just for the sake of argument. Then I say it's about god damn time that they get some payback for the persecution they have dished out in the past. Payback is a bitch.

Somebody ought to tell the truth about the Bible. The preachers dare not, because they would be driven from their pulpits. Professors in colleges dare not, because they would lose their salaries. Politicians dare not. They would be defeated. Editors dare not. They would lose subscribers. Merchants dare not, because they might lose customers. Men of fashion dare not, fearing that they would lose caste. Even clerks dare not, because they might be discharged. And so I thought I would do it myself... Robert Ingersoll

And when they come for the Christians most will remain silent (or cheer) because they are not Christians.

That is why I posted the quotes in the following post. This animus against Christians is no accident. It has been created over the last 50 years, and Christians have to get that fact and begin effectively fighting back for the war of minds.

One way to do that is as some Christian websites have been doing, and as I frequently do, and that is quoting directly the source point for the animus, resentment, and hatred.

Of course the duped Kristyun ZioNAZIs have not helped matters as they preach one thing, tolerance and love, and then actively support hate, war, mass murder, and persecution of those of differing beliefs.

The Roman Church has always had its corrupt elements but now the humanist Psychiatrists have become the gate keepers for their Seminaries - passing on homosexuals and atheists and disqualifying many of the devout as "mentally unstable" for being devout. Am I the only one who sees the conflict there?

It will be interesting how strong the attack on religion is when the Committee writing the DSM V "votes" on what is and is not a "mental disorder". (For those not familiar DSM it is short for "Diagnostic and Statiscal Manual - the billing Bible of Psychiatry. The conditions listed in it are determined by committee votes and NOT objective verfiable SCIENCE.) Note the underlined word "votes". I point that out because the DSM is NOT science - it is the collective opinions of the people who have a vote on the committee. Science is an objective examination based upon observation and quantifiable, verifiable, measurements. Newton's "Third Law of Motion" is NOT subject to a vote. It is an objectively verifiable observation which can be measured. You could have a thousand committees vote for or against Newton's Third Law and it remains unchanged. Scientific facts are not subject to a vote. They can either be objectively verified or not. Voting changes nothing.

People have to understand that Psychiatry is quackery. It is a collection of unverified, unproven, OPINIONS, of people who typically graduate in the bottom ten percent of their medical school class. None of the precepts and opinions of Psychiatry are Science - they are opinions given fancy Greek and Latin names to lend an air of legitimacy to those opinions. There is not one verifiable objective medical test to prove or show the existence of any medical problem under ANY of Psychiatry's multitude of subjective OPINIONS.

If someone has a medical problem, such as diabetes, there are objective tests which show that yes, the person is diabetic. The same applies for cancer, heart disease, or an infection. There is not one medical test to verify ANY Psychiatric diagnosis LABEL. They are just that - invented labels given a Greek or Latin name and are nothing more than the opinion of the person inventing the label.

"A psychiatrist is a man who has studied medicine, which he does not practice, but practices psychology, which he has not studied."
Dr. Harriet Babcock, former Chief Psychologist, Bellevue Hospital

Here's an interesting post I found on a Christian Blog. The writer "gets it" (Source):

The Fake Religion of Psychiatry

“… In the many centuries before the birth of Jesus, as well as in nineteen following it, mankind’s knowledge of medicine lagged far behing its understanding of religion and philosophy. In ancient Israel and Greece the healer of the soul is thus not the physician, but the rabbi and the philosopher. Socrates, McNeill reminds us, ‘was, and wished to be, iatros tes psuches, a healer of the soul. These Greek syllables have been recast to form the word ‘psychiatrist.’ But Socrates would hardly recognize the medical psychiatrist as a member of his fraternity. A scientific psychiatry indifferent to religion and philosophy is a new and strange phenomenon.’ New, yes; strange, hardly. Furthermore, medical psychiatry is not merely indifferent to religion, it is implacably hostile to it. Herein lies one of the supreme ironies of modern psychotherapy: it is not merely a religion that pretends to be a science, it is actually a fake religion that seeks to destroy true religion.”

“Voltaire, Nietzsche, and many other thinkers since the Enlightenment have noted that religious doctrines are not empirically verifiable observations. What does Freud add to such positivistic antireligiosity? Only the assertion that religious belief and conduct belong in the same class as mental disorders; they are madnesses, medical disorders, matters on which Freud is, or claims to be, an expert.”
Dr. Thomas Szasz, The Myth of Psychotherapy, Professor Emeritus of Psychiatry University of Chicago (Syracuse University Press, 1988), pp. 27-28, 140.

Psychiatry’s War on Religion:

“Religion (is) a universal obsessional neurosis.”
– Sigmund Freud, defining spiritual belief
“Religion is an illusion and it derives its strength from the fact that it falls in with our instinctual desires.”
“The religions of mankind must be classed among the mass-delusions of this kind. No one, needless to say, who shares a delusion ever recognizes it as such…”
“Civilization runs a greater risk if we maintain our present attitude to religion than if we give it up.”

  – Sigmund Freud

I agree. When the Lord himself said it why would anyone who claims to be his follower be surprised when it happens just like he said it would?

Neo Con Sites and Pro Israel Christians Still Trying to Find an Excuse to Attack Iran.

The oligarchs need a war really bad. They need a distraction from the bad economy. The occupy movement has now become a thorn in their side. Seeing all those unemployed people with time on thier hands and great number does not bode well with the politicians.

The corrupt scandals in the White House are making headlines. Congress being caught doing insider trading has lowered further the approval rating of congress that make them less popular than Fidel Castro. Ron Paul is gaining ground in Iowa and all the so called top tier candidates are floundering. Mit Romney is the next card to fall giving eh Texas congressmen more appeal.

We have become a war weary nation. We are not please with drone warfare in Pakistan, and Somalia. The wars keep spreading like a cancer in Uganda and in Libya. The Americans are not pleased because we have not consented to these wars. Congress is acting like a potted plants doing nothing to keep a check on the power of the commander and chief. The national discontent among the people is coming to a flash point were the other side fears losing everything. The people do not see a democrat or republican party. We only see the globalist party representing the one percent and not the 99 percent.

Now we see the neo con sites like World Net Daily siding with Israel over a fabled enemy called Iran. The Israeli people are tired of the wars too and the Prime Minster needs to be reelected next year. They are saying Ezekiel 38 is about to happen because Russia is siding with Iran and the battle of Armageddon is coming. News Max is saying North Korea is sending Nuclear aid to Iran now. Since the use car salesmen story and Dick Cheney staging using gunboats to sink a battleship have wen belly up. They are desperate to find a reason to sell the people on a war with Iran because right now many General Staff inside the Pentagon have said this war will will lose.

Hal Lindsey and John Hagee who are Zionist preachers being the mouth piece for Israel and the anti defamation league trying to use the Bible to gain sympathy among the Christian right to a war with Iran as a just war. Well I would like to ask them when is a preemptive attack a just war? Iran has shown much restraint despite all the attacks by special operations and CIA operatives trying to undermine the country to bring it down from within. Since Obama is failing to sell another war to the people. The establishment is courting the ignorant Christians from the other direction. There is no reason to go to war Iran. They have not attacked us. They just want to be left alone.

The bankers need a war to loot the nations to ruin as a diversion. When people are seeing who the real power looking past their puppet leaders to the towers of an international banking cartel hell bent on controlling all the wealth of the world by controlling every nation. Iran with a few holdout nations not under the banking dictatorship is the issue. A nuclear weapon is just a cover story as the excuse to go to war when the objective is the set up a private central bank to enslave the Iranian people with a puppet government in place.

All these neo con sites, phony Zionist Christian leaders and talk show host are just another tool of the New World Order to sell the war from a neo conservative angle for the military industrial complex and the globalist. There is nothing Christian and conservative about wars of aggression. Beware of the phony patriots selling wars of aggression for Israel. Do not get fooled again like we were right before the Iraq war. No weapons if mass destruction were ever found. I rest my case.

Well, I don't claim to speak for all Christians but I can tell you that I am not looking for any excuse to get the US involved in ANY unnecessary wars and especially not any illegitimate ones. But I am sure that you will find that I am in error on just about everything, that was apparent earlier in the thread. But that's ok with me, I am not looking for and don't require your approval of the things I post or my thoughts.

This is true.

The irony is that the Bible specifically identifies the enemies of "TRUE ISRAEL" as those calling themselves "ASHKENAZI JEWS" but the mullets haven't got enough Biblical knowledge to know it because they settle for the pulpit prostitutes version whether that's promoted by Hagee or WND makes no difference.

"ASHKENAZI JEWS"

I remember them working for the florist when I lived in Chicago. Not very nice, and when we did one of their weddings, when it was over you could hear the old women asking each other, "Are you going to use the carnations in the salad?" ;)
