I looked at much of the Fitzmas material coming out and found it to mainly come from the Left side of our artificial political spectrum. In fact I read that the term even came from DemocraticUnderground.

I wonder how these lefties are going to like it when they find out that certain people on the RIGHT (Constitutionalists, Paleo-Cons and Libertarians) are enjoying Fitzmas week as much as they are. (I'm bringing this up because it is doctrine amongst 'bot types on the Left that every one on the Right must love Shrub and his imperial administration and this is simply not so.)

Actually I really think Fitzmas works better for US than it does for them. Heres how:

1. Fitzmas causes the sheep to elect Hillary and a Dem Congress.

2. Hillary and Dem Congress pass gun ban and attemtp door ro door confiscation.

3. Door to door gun confiscation starts Civil War II which the leftist side of the Banker/Treason Elite CAN'T win.

4. The MILITIA OF THE SCCOND AMENDMENT frog-marches the "leftist" side of the Banker/Treason elite (Hillary, Bill, Diane Feinstein, Barbera Boxer, Chuckie Schumer, Teddy the Swimmer et al PLUS the actual Banker/Traitor Elitists behind the scenes) off to the slammer and it's MERY FITZMAS II and we have our freedom and country back. ;c)

Um, where do you guys come up with this crap. No one want to confiscate guns. If we do that, we are at the mercy of the next bunch of nazis to come along. As a gun control proponent, my only wish is to put a stop to illegal gun sales. Mainly, I object to the gun show exception. That is where terrorists, criminals and the mentally ill can get guns with no background check at all.

The people you named have never called for a gun ban, or confiscation or anything of the sort. Your paranoia aside, most of the left want an armed nation. Just not one that allows crack dealers to buy untraceable streetsweepers.

Actually it seems that the firearms LEAST used in crime are those that are not under ANY gun control laws at all except in highly strict law areas like New York, Massachusses Haiwii, Chicago, and Washington DC. These being "black powder" replicas like those revolutionary and Civil War re-inactors use because of the age and value of the originals and pre 1899 antiques. (Even though my home state of California is also a very strict law state even it exempts firearms INCLUDING HANDGUNS labeled "antiques" under the Gun Control Act of 1968 including black powder chamber and muzzle loaders from it's gun control laws. I don't think I ever heard of a MODERN crime with an 1851 Navy Colt or a replica thereof or a Smith & Wesson 1880 double action revolver which was a very advanced firearm for its time.

Ever been to a gun show? Trust me...Akmhed ain't gonna blend in or find many people willing to do business with him at your garden variety gun show. As far as the mentally ill are concerned, government at all levels have proven that they can't catalog and/or track those people with any degree of competence.

People like us don't like the idea of guns being too "traceable" because that means registration. And while not every registration implemented by other countries has led to confiscation, almost every confiscation came after registration was in place. It may seem harmless to you, but we don't trust it...we're funny that way.

I think you would be surprised how many votes some dems could siphon off if they would just lay off of the gun issue entirely.
