In their annual exercises "Vigilant Guardian" and "Global Guardian," the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the United States Strategic Command (Stratcom) were scheduled to carry out what has been described as a "simulated air war," a "full-blown nuclear war" exercise, a "fictional nuclear war," and a "practice Armageddon." Am archiving the link here for the evidence that Defcon 3 is oddly the highest level of alert and readiness that was implemented that day, rather than Defcon 1 for immenent attack(s)/attack(s) in-process. This is from a post by the article author in the comments section: It is difficult to know the reasons for Rumsfeld's actions, such as why he ordered the military to Defcon 3. At present, we can only make educated guesses. This is one of many reasons why we urgently need a new and unrestrained investigation of 9/11, to find out the full truth of what went on and who was responsible for the attacks. I think the fact that the evidence I've presented in this article isn't already common knowledge alone proves there has been a massive cover-up of the truth about what happened on September 11.
